Looks like this is available as a physical product as well. It seems very cool, detailed lore information provided by an expert, I can get into.

How is the quality of the physical book? Does the amount of information justify the cost?

I don't know, I only backed for the PDF on KickStarter. I think the digital version is reasonably priced: 306 pages including a bestiary, player-facing content, some new sub-systems, and a brief talk on real-world paleontology and GM advice.
