Please go ahead and provide:
1. What type of primary weapon do you want (greatsword, longsword, shortbow, dagger, etc.)?
2. What type of secondary weapon?
3. What type of armor?
4. What 5 capabilities are you most interested in getting from your other magical items (examples: AC boosts, saving throws, elemental resistances, mobility types such as flight/teleportation, miss chances, senses such as truesight/see invisibility/blindsight/etc.)?

I'll pull together a couple of equipment package options for each of you.

Merry Mann (https://www.dndbeyond.com/characters/93621979/U9ddxq) is an Abjuration Wizard.

I figure he's got the following responses to the questions:
1. Primary weapon would be a staff of some sort.
2. Secondary weapon would be a wand or buffing weapon (something that is useful besides just for attack rolls).
3. Robes for armor.
4. Capabilities desired in the buffing department would be: Spell slots or activatable items with spell effects, truesight, saving throws or DCs, Alertness.

1. Warhammer or similar blunt force one handed smashers. Hyra is a hammer+shield type.
2. Things that boost her spells.
3. The heaviest. Full plate and shield ideally.
4.
a) A strength booster to make her weapon swings better, so she can use that instead of cantrips
b) Defensive boosts (eg. AC/save boosts, cloak of displacement, additional condition resistances)
c) Spell boosts, as above (so Amulet of the Devout, primarily)
d) Movement boost. Flight is less 'interesting' for her thematically than just moving faster, since she's got dwarf speed. Boots of Speed might be good, since it's a bonus action use, and she doesn't have much in the way of BA uses otherwise.
e) Something that makes enemies want to hit me instead of someone else? I dunno if that's even a thing.

I'd also like to clarify:-
a) Hyra's domain spell swap from Animate Objects to Summon Celestial, given the move away from older summon spells to Tasha's.
and b) Spell component costs (eg. is it worth having Revivify prepped? Is Heroes Feast a viable spell to prepare? Will I have the component for Summon Celestial?)

A) Confirmed, that is good. I have never seen Animate Objects actually in play, but I expect it would end up being similar to Conjure Animals.
B) Assume you have components for most reasonable spells. I'd rather stay away from Heroes' Feast, as most parties don't have it.

If someone wants to do something really expensive like Contingency (1500gp custom statue) or Gate (5000gp diamond), I might count the component for that as similar to an uncommon item.

It's good to know - in my spell selection I'd stayed away from the Abjuration school spells with a valuable material component too (didn't take Stoneskin or Planar Binding, those sorts of things). So I think we're on the same page there.

I'll pull together a couple of equipment package options for each of you.

1. Longbow
2. Rapier or other finesse weapon w/ d8 or higher (like du blade)
3. Light armor or snake scale medium armor or equivalent barrier tattoo
4. AC/save boost, bracers of archery, sneaking (boots and cloak of elven kind), teleport (short range), means of obscurement - and I wouldn't say no to flight and or a cloak of the manta ray

They're surprisingly close but I think I'll go with Set #2.

It's a bit annoying how the Belt of Dwarvenkind benefits non-dwarves more than dwarves, but it be what it be.

Much as I love Elven Chain, I'll go with set #2 - Merry is more of a versatile guy I guess. The Bracers are Bracers of Defense, right?

I like that the Dagger of Warning also applies to the rest of the party as far as not being able to be surprised, and waking up if there's a fight.

Shouldn't need one but a thrown option would be preferred if you're making up space.

Heavy armour and a mundane shield.

4. What 5 capabilities are you most interested in getting from your other magical items (examples: AC boosts, saving throws, elemental resistances, mobility types such as flight/teleportation, miss chances, senses such as truesight/see invisibility/blindsight/etc.)?

Mobility, tanking and support. Extra movement of some kind would be really nice, reducing the damage taken by allies in s(by negating crits for example), something to boost the effectiveness of my spells or give me more spells to use... Oh and this might be a little more difficult to find but something that makes it harder to get away from her?
