Like all CivSec documents in regards to a mission, they were written rather blankly and made for tedious reading, but even those with low attention spans can eventually slog through the information. (Or get someone else to relay the important stuff.)
8 days ago, 1600: Mining Frigate Oseberg docks on the Goetia Penal Mining Station in stable orbit over Vestis. This vessel is a known component of the CFM, the Colonial Freedom Movement. Assumed goal was to take over the station for new recruits and resources. Contained 18 armed members of the CFM led by GEOFF GUNNARSON.

19:01 Station lost all power, emergency life support activates.
Since then, there has been no confirmed contact with the space station. A single UNSC scout was sent to learn more about the location and found it to be dark. All but two airlocks appear to be non-functional, but once the scout docked it seems that number is down to one.
The Oseberg is confirmed to still be docked, but a preliminary scan shows that the reactor isn't functioning properly to sustain power, no life signs aboard.
You have your copy of the readout, but it doesn't look good. These penal colonies always give only the basics of their schematics to discourage breakouts ahead of schedule. Furthermore, you have 24 hours before the station goes beyond the point of no return and is doomed to enter Vestis' atmosphere.
