Ultimate battle of the fictional ursidae!

Personally, I think Gummi bears will tear those Carebuggers...

Well, I hate the Carebears, but thought the Gummi Bears were pretty cool. Plus they had that gummi berry juice... don't mess with a bear on drugs!

Gummi bears, hands down.

My favorite was Tummi (and my favorite Ghostbuster was Venkman, and my favorite Garfield was, um, Garfield...), and my least favorite was Gusto. Oh, Gusto, how I hated you.

Care Bears. There's an old thread around here somewhere explaining why the Care Bears actually could defeat the Galactic Empire. Besides, the Care Bear Stare kills everything that can die.

This is quite a complicated discusion, isn't it?

I'd say Gummi Bears, of course.

all i'm saying is running bear is just as powerful as the gummi bears + the carebears and warrants a place in this "ultimate battle of the fictional ursidae!"

Even without the Care Bear stare, the Care Bears would still win because of their secret weapon: Intensive Care Bear. :smallamused:

Gummi bears, because they could hire that evil dude what's-his-face, Beastly that fluffy little servant and (*shudder*) Screechy the niece chick.

Care bears gon down, man!

The bad guy in Care Bears was Lord No-Heart. His minion was Beastly, and his evil niece was called Shrieky. I'm ashamed to say that I know this without having to look it up. :smallyuk:

I's between a ray that charms with a high will save vs a poyion that jacks up your Defenses.

The Gummi have the win as long as the Carebear Cousinz stay out the fight. Brave Heart and Cozy Heart are overpowered being a lion and penguin respectively.

The Care Bears tear the Gummies apart. (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?t=143944)That is rather impressive. As much as I prefer the Gummies (I wonder what role they played in hooking me into medieval fantasy? ), your argument there is sound; I doubt the Gummies could go up against that.

And your hint at the possibly angelic nature of the Care Bears makes sense, too.

The Care Bear cousins are out of the fight, I'm afraid. They all died in the great "purifying" of Care-A-Lot. :smalltongue:

I personally think that Gummi Bears would win. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Care Bear Stare completely useless against good creatures? And even if it doesn't, Gummi Bears possess superior agility when on dru... cough, juice, and woulds be able to dodge the Stare easily. And, unlike Care Bears, Gummi Bears possess other weapons and are generally more crafty.

Plus, I liked them much more as a kid.

Nope. In "The Long Lost Care Bears", a pair of out-of-control Stares caused quite a bit of mayhem on Care-A-Lot.

Say that to Swift Heart. You know, the one with super-speed.

Plus, I liked them much more as a kid.
While I never watched their show. So there.:smalltongue:

I never really watched either show. All I know is that I've eaten hundreds of Gummi Bears, but no Carebears. Obviously, Carebear meat would be made delicious and succulent by all that caring, so it isn't for a lack of trying. Therefore, we can safely assume this power scale...

200+ Gummi Bears < h_v < One Carebear

Therefore, Carebears win.

How can the Care Bears lose when they have Love as a ranged touch attack? The Care Bear Cousins have Music for their ability (slightly more random), but a(n AWESOME) potion of Jump really isn't going to do it.

I'm going to have to go with the Care Bears, as well.

The Gummi bears are basically a group of low-level adventurers, but the Care Bears are quite clearly epic. They deal with The End Of The World, implying they are vastly higher level, with all the potencies that apply.

Now, if anything, I think Teddy Ruxpin's crew would be a better matchup against the Gummi Bears. Both are low-combat adventuring groups with a fair share of success at tasks such as artifact hunting.

I'm gonna have to vote for the Gummi Bears. Their theme song is way more catchy.

Yeah.
Like I said, I've never watched the Gummi Bears, but from what I4ve understood, their foes were a corrupt duke and a bunch of low-to-medium level monsters.
The Care Bears' foes have included a mad scientist capable of freezing an entire town in one shot, a centuries-old sorcerer whose spells were considered a global threat, a spirit that managed to change the alignment of everybody on Earth to CE (except for the Care Bears and two humans who were protected just by being around them at the time), a vampire, a star-stealing alien, and the Devil himself. (and I'm skipping a few.)
