Aligned Spellcaster
Your passions drive your magical abilities, imbuing your every spell with the power of your conviction. Those who oppose your ideals suffer the most from your magical energy.

Level: 1st (4th for hexblades).

Replaces: If you select this class feature you do not gain a familiar.

Benefit: Choose an alignment component you have that is not neutral. Spells you cast gain the apropriate alignment descriptor unless they already have the opposite alignment descriptor. For example, a neutral good wizard who selects this ability (and who must choose good) casts all spells that aren't evil spells as good spells.

Spells you cast that target creatures of the opposite alignment are cast at +1 caster level (+2 if they have the opposite alignment as a subtype). Area of effect and other spells that affect such creatures without targeting them do not gain this bonus. A neutral spellcaster gains no benefit from this ability.

Abyssal Specialist
Most wizards who choose to specialize do so in a specific school. Many drow wizards instead focus on a variety of spells closely linked to the powers and objectives of the Weaver of Webs. The basic mechanic for specialization is the same, but the specifics differ.

Level: 1st.

Replaces: If you select this class feature, you cannot specialize in a school of magic, and you lose the ability to cast spells from a prohibited school.

You must select one school of magic to serve as your prohibited school, and you can never cast spells from it or use spell completion and spell trigger devices connected to it, as per normal specialist rules. You may not select divination as your prohibited school.

Benefit: You are considered specialized, but not in a specific school. Rather, you gain all the benefits of specialization with a group of spells that includes all those of the following subschools and/or descriptors: chaotic, compulsion, darkness, evil, and fear. You gain all the standard benefits of specialization as applied to this group of spells, as though it were a school unto itself.

Emphasis mine.

Does Aligned Wizard let you prepare any (non-Good, non-Lawful) spells of your choice in your specialization slots? Or are you unable to do that because they're not [Chaotic] and/or [Evil] until you cast them? Is a Summon Monster X spell ineligible to be prepared in a specialization slot because it doesn't gain an alignment descriptor until you cast it?

Also, do you have to be a Drow Wizard in order to take Abyssal Specialist?

Bonus round:

Focused Specialist
Every wizard who calls himself a specialist takes pride in wielding his preferred form of magic. Those who are exceptionally pure of purpose take this specialization to an entirely new level, disdaining breadth of skill in favor of even greater focus.

Class: Wizard.

Level: 1st.

Special Requirement: You must be a specialist wizard.

Replaces: You lose one spell slot from each level of wizard spells you can cast. If you later gain the ability to cast higher-level wizard spells, you lose one spell slot from each new level of spells you can cast.

You must also choose another prohibited school of magic, which can't be divination.

Benefit: You can prepare two additional spells of your specialty school per spell level each day. These extra spells are in addition to those normally granted to a specialist wizard.

This benefit doesn't apply to spells gained from classes other than wizard.

Are Abyssal Specialists eligible to be Focused Specialists?

The second one. Aligned spellcasters only add the alignment descriptor to the spell during casting, not during preparation. However, a 10th level planar wizard's planar spellcasting ability would work just fine for this.

Thanks for the clarifications!

Bonus bonus round: Does Aligned Spellcaster make spells eligible for Chaotic Spell Recall?

Once per day, you can recall one spell with the chaotic descriptor that you had prepared and then cast. The spell is then prepared again, just as if it had not been cast. You recall the spell as a swift action. The spell can be of any level you know, and you can recall the same spell or a different spell every time you use this feat. You gain an additional daily use of this ability for every two abyssal heritor feats you possess.

Since you're invoking this after you've cast the spell (and thus given it the [Chaotic] descriptor), this should work, right?
