So I just preordered the new Final Cut HD DVD version of Ridley Scott's incredible Blade Runner.

I am SO excited. I was wary that they were going to only include the newest cut in HD, but they have confirmed that all 5 versions of the film, INCLUDING the work print, are going to be remastered HD DVD.

WOOHOO!


Anyone want to chime in on how magnificently badass this movie is?

One of my favourite movies, quite probably even the favourite movie.

I prefer the version with Harrison Ford's narrative to the one without; I find the narrative adds quite a bit to the atmosphere by providing valuable background information and being held in a rather appropriate tone.

Pity they did not include more of the book's concepts though.
