With the NDA lifted, I can finally say it's fantastic. There are some oddities, but gameplay in and of it self is awesome. I love the pace of ship combat, far less button mashing. I enjoy working with the economy. The graphics are very beautiful.

Right now, they are still testing a few features in Beta, but with the Pre-order boarding party release date of Jan. 7th just around the corner, it looks as if Pirates of the Burning Sea is going to be an MMO worth playing.

Having screwed around with the beta for a couple hours, I have to say that initial impressions are pretty positive. I've only done some PvE currently, but if PvP is anything like PvE it'll be fantastic.

Less like the "what the hell just happened I'm dead" PvP and more, well, I screwed up, my fault.
