Hey, quick question. Does anyone know any Githzerai names?

I'm playing one and I've finished him but I just need to fill out the info. The only ones I could find were Zerthimon, the prophet, and Dak'kon, from planescape torment.

Haha, of course not. Everyone knows apostrophes are a vowel.

APOSTRAPHES ARE NOT SUBSTITIONTIONS FOR VOWELS

Of course they're not. Apostraphes are what happens when the archangel Raphael turns to apostasy and splinters into a thousand lesser heretic angels under the strain.

I would tell you what a substitiontion is, but they'd kill me.

What about apostrophes? Can they be substitutions for vowels, or other sounds? For example, in thri-kreen (and, IIRC, in transcribing the speech of the Khalahari bushmen), the apostrophe stands for a pop; similar to when you pop your tongue from your hard palate to behind your front teeth. The name may be pronounced Dak(click)kon, which is terribly awkward for most English speakers, but works for those who speak Githzerai.

Normally, I wouldn't say anything. I don't correct people's grammar and spelling all the time... anymore. However, when you're ranting about orthography of alien languages, spelling correctly in your own does help.
