Class Skills (2 + Int modifier per level, x4 at 1st level): Climb, Craft, Intimidate, Knowledge (Nature), Search, (Plus others that depend on the chosen dragon type. See below).

Races: All the races can see the power held by the mighty Dragons of Ajur and many are drawn to these great creatures in the hopes they will share some of their wisdom and might.

Alignment: Dragon Shaman can be of any alignment; however each specific Dragon type requires a Dragon Shaman to be within an acceptable alignment for the Shaman to receive their blessing and therefore the classes’ benefits. For example a Gold Dragon Shaman must be NG, LG or LN in alignment as this agrees with the Gold Dragons ethos. A Dragon Shaman who strays from their appointed Dragon’s alignment loses all their Class Special abilities and becomes an Ex-Dragon Shaman.
Ex-Dragon Shaman may recover their lost abilities by regaining their Dragon sponsors designated alignments or support a new Dragon with the same mindset as their new alignment. Supporting a different type of Dragon can change many of the Dragon Shaman’ powers and is not to be taken lightly, in order to achieve this change a Dragon Shaman must find a new Dragon to be their sponsor and undertake the sacred rites that will infuse his spirit with the new draconic energies, these rites take a week of ritual chanting and meditation to create the bond between Shaman and Dragon.
An Ex-Dragon Shaman will lose the class skills received by supporting a specific Dragon type; they will then become cross-class skills. He will however not lose any ranks taken in those skills prior to losing his Dragon Shaman status.
A Dragon Shaman who becomes an Ex-Dragon Shaman while in the possession of a Foster Dragon will lose their Foster Dragon, only after reverting back to their previous alignment (most likely via the spell atonement) or consorting with a new dragon and performing the rite stated above will he be able to receive a new Foster Dragon.

Starting Gold: 4d6x10.

Weapon and Armour Proficiency: A Dragon Shaman is proficient with simple weapons, with light and medium armor (including armour crafted from dragon scales or bone), and with shields (except tower shields).

Draconic Aura: You can channel the mighty power of dragonkind to project an aura that grant you and all nearby allies a special benefit. Projecting this aura is a swift action. The aura remains in effect until dismissed by the Dragon Shaman or until its time runs out (1min/level of Dragon Shaman); the time need not be used concurrently, with Dragon Shamans allowed to split their aura time up throughout the day. The Draconic Aura timer is reset at the beginning of each day at midnight.
The aura affects all allies within 30 feet (including yourself) with line of effect to you. Your aura is dismissed if you become unconscious or are slain; however it remains in effect if you are incapable of acting (for example under the influence of hold person).
Your aura bonus increases at 5th, 10th, 15th and 20th level with a bonus of +2, +3, +4 and +5 respectively.
When activated your draconic aura gives all allies within range (and yourself) a bonus on melee damage rolls equal to your aura bonus, imbuing your allies with the power and vigor of dragons.
Your aura also infuses your allies within range (and yourself) with the cunning and speed of dragons, giving them a bonus on Listen and Spot checks, as well as initiative checks, equal to your aura bonus.

Skill Focus: At levels 2, 4 and 8 you gain Skill Focus as a bonus feat. You must apply the feat to one of the three class skills granted by your chosen Dragon type. For example Blue Dragons skills are Bluff, Hide and Spellcraft; you may choose Skill Focus for any of these three at 2nd level, one of the two remaining at 4th level and finally the last at 8th level.

Endure Elements: Your skin hardens to the weather, taking on a slight scaly sheen; you are able to withstand both heat and cold. This effect is identical with the spell; however it only affects you and is a permanent effect (caster level equals Dragon Shaman level). If dispelled or suppressed in any way the effect will replenish itself at the beginning of the next day at midnight. This is a supernatural ability.

Draconic Immunities: At 3rd level you become more like your draconic patron, receiving some of their natural immunities. At third level you gain immunity to all sleep effects. These immunities increase at 6th level where you develop the draconic power shrug off paralysis effects with impunity.

Spider Climb: Your fingers and toes sprout talon like finger nails, great for digging into hard materials, and your palms secret a viscous fluid on command to better grapple any surface. This effect is identical with the spell; however it only affects you and is a permanent effect (caster level equals Dragon Shaman level). If dispelled or suppressed in any way the effect will replenish itself at the beginning of the next day at midnight. This is a supernatural ability.

Touch of Power: At 7th level the Dragon Shaman receives the power to deliver some of their draconic insight to another individual. A Dragon Shaman may access this power once per day per point of Charisma modifier (minimum once). A Dragon Shaman must be able to touch a willing subject to use this power; a Dragon Shaman cannot use this power on an unwilling subject, nor can he use it on himself. Each touch lasts for a number of rounds equal to the Dragon Shamans class level, only one touch can be in effect on any one individual at any given time, however two Dragon Shamans may each apply an individual touch, these do not stack, the most powerful touch being the only one prevalent.
Touch of power grants the individual some of the more desirable draconic powers. At 7th level it instills bravery and courage in its recipient, the character receives a +2 morale bonus to all attack rolls and on saving throws against fear effects.
At 13th level this bonus improves, giving the previous bonus but also granted the recipient immunity to all sleep and paralysis effects.
At 19th level the previous bonuses apply, however the Dragon Shaman’s Touch of Power also grants the recipient +4 natural armour bonus. If the recipient already has natural armour as an aspect of its creature kind and not from a spell or magic item or supernatural ability, this bonus stacks with its existing natural armour bonus.

Touch of Vitality: At 7th level the Dragon Shaman receives the power to deliver some of their draconic insight to another individual.
Touch of Vitality infuses the recipient with the majesty of dragonkind, bringing good health and long life. At 7th level the recipient receives a +2 morale bonus against all death and poison based effects.
At 13th level this bonus improves, giving the previous bonus but also granting the recipient Fall Healing 2.
At 19th level the previous bonuses apply, however the Dragon Shaman’s Touch of Vitality also acts as the Cleric spell Heal (cast at the Dragon Shaman’s current level) when the Dragon Shaman applies this ability.

Water Breathing: Your transformation to something more or less dragon is nearly complete, now you can immerse yourself within water indefinitely, even whilst in full armour. This effect is identical with the spell; however it only affects you and is a permanent effect (caster level equals Dragon Shaman level). If dispelled or suppressed in any way the effect will replenish itself at the beginning of the next day at midnight. This is a supernatural ability.

Foster Dragon: At 11th level a Dragon Shaman is entrusted with the care of a Wyrmling dragon by their draconic sponsor. This is a tremendous honor for any Dragon Shaman, who will always take the care of this baby dragon very seriously. The kind of dragon is up to the type of Dragon chosen by the Shaman at the time, for example a Blue Dragon Shaman will receive a Blue Dragon Wyrmling. The Wyrmling dragon follows the Shaman loyally and will even accompany him on adventures (though it receives no XP and can’t attain new levels).
If the Wyrmling dies, the Dragon Shaman cannot gain another and must atone for their breach of trust with their sponsor Dragon the any way the DM sees fit.

Frightful Presence: At 12th level a Dragon Shaman can unsettle his foes with his mere proximity. The Shaman can activate his frightful presence as a free action. Creatures within a radius of 30 feet per point of Charisma modifier (minimum 30 feet) are subject to the effect if they have fewer Hit Dice than the Dragon Shaman (Dragons are immune to the effect).
A potentially affected creature that succeeds on a Will save (DC 10 + Shamans level) remains immune to that Shaman’s frightful presence for 24 hours. On a failure, creatures with 4 or fewer HD become panicked for 2d6 rounds and those with 5 or more HD become shaken for 2d6 rounds.

Hoard Gift: Your draconic sponsor, pleased with your success, gives you a selected item from its hoard in thanks of all you have accomplished. A Dragon Shaman must still have their Foster Dragon alive to benefit from the Hoard Gift upon obtaining 16th level. The most common Hoard Gift is a suit of enchanted Dragonhide Plate crafted from scales the colour and hue of your sponsor, or a weapon forged from their claws and teeth, perhaps even a random bauble. The DM will help you choose a specific item once you reach 16th level however the total cost of the item cannot exceed 100,000 gold pieces. A Dragon Shaman would never dream of selling their Hoard Gift, such a thing is not unheard of however, should a Dragon Shaman willingly sell or destroy their Hoard Gift, they become an Ex-Dragon Shaman, losing their class abilities accordingly.

Spell Resistance: At 17th level, a Dragon Shaman gains spell resistance equal to 15 + his Dragon Shaman class level.

Draconic Wings: At 19th level, you grow a pair of wings that resemble those of your chosen Dragon type. They allow a flight speed of 60 feet with good maneuverability. You can even fly while carrying a medium load, though your fly speed drops to 40 feet in this case. If you already have wings, you can choose whether these draconic wings replace your own.
