Now, we have a thread about worst gift, so I think it's just apropriate to have one about the best gift also.

My list have several candidates:
- D&D 1st ed books in Norwegian (my first language)
- Lord of the Rings, the book obviously

The best gift ever has to be rabbits.
I got one for my birthday in 95, and My sister got one the new years eve (which we selebrate with gifts) of 2003

Mhm, I just realize the most awesome gifts were birthday presents in my case. Do they count?:smallwink:

Concerning christmas presents, my parents have two times created calendars for me. One was a picture calendar about my dog(living with my parents that time) with quite funny pics they had taken over the year. The second time was very detailed with various pictures of the family, me, my girlfriend and so on. With both you could see the lot of thought, work and love involved.

All of my gifts were my best gifts.
Especially the pile of scrap electronic "junk" that I got to fiddle with. And the Lego Mindstorms. And the calenders. And the helicopter toy. And the catapults.

Happy Birthday/Merry christmas? :smallconfused:
Interesting.

Anyways, my first video game console, Gamecube. :smallcool:
I still think Metroid Prime is the best FPS of all time.

I got a Lego railroad when I was 10... although granted, that was a birthday present. Christmas just happened to be one day off (and frankly it's not even a big deal in Russia).

In Russia, the corresponding selebration would be the new year, wouldn t it?
