In 515, Belkar gains a level, but it is drained by a wight (is that spelled incorrectly?). In the next comic, I think that Haley will also have a level drained. Theoretically, if they meet up with Durkan (or any other cleric), then won't he be able to cast restoration and un-drain their levels? If so, what do you think he will take (ranger, barbarian, some overpowered prestiege class...)?

Well, a drained level probably wouldn't be that big of a deal compared to what would be going on when they met, as it's very likely that something would be going on when they reunite. As for Belkar, I think the answer (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0132.html) is obvious. (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0133.html)

You never know if a kind of "Blood-thirsty Massacrer from Above" Prestige Class will come anytime. Like Dashing Swordsman, an incredibly convenient Prestige Class for Elan, maybe now is Belkar's turn for an incredibly convenient Prestige Class.

Although he would take another level of Barbarian, just like to say wacky idea out loud. :smallwink:

Wait... the answer is obvious as in d: all of the above? how?

He'll pull a Fumbles and take 1/11 of every class (http://goblinscomic.com/d/20050902.html).

But then he'll 1/11th fall for associating with himself.

Except this is Belkar; he wouldn't be able to. Bloodthirsty Massacrer from Below, maybe..

Yes, it's spelled wight.

What?

Frenzied Beserker would in fact be quite humorous, but I was just thinking of the worlds smallest Bear Warrior.

Babarian is a pretty good "prestige class" for Belkar. It works pretty fine for him...

What?

It means "person."

What?

As from the "Death from Above" ....

As i recall, this line came in because of a certain magical ring. And our "buddy Roy" had it last time.....

Need I remind you of the Ring of Jumping +20?

I think we should call it Schrodinger's Ring. Until we know for sure whether or not it "caused" Roy's death, it simultaneously did and didn't.

I like it. Let's go with it.

Assuming Belkar is able to get Restoration or passes his Fortitude save and gets to keep that level, I think it'll be Barbarian. Elan's Incredibly Convenient Prestige Class was necessary for plot. We needed to establish that Elan was suddenly good enough at combat to ride in and rescue Haley. While I think Belkar might get Bloodthirsty Massacerer From Above, I have a feeling that'll be a few more Barbarian levels.

Wow! I can't believe one of my typical stupid comments got such attention hehehe

As for Belkar, I think the "Bloodthirsty Stabbity Massacrer From Any Direction" Prestige Class will suit him well.

Wow, this gave me an idea fr a new thread :smallamused:

No, my point was to emphasize how barbarian is perfect for him.
