I got the 3.5 players guide pdf, and pages 24-41 are missing.

Could anybody give me the pages, I need the information.

Thanks

Did you download it legally and all that (i.e., pay for it)? If so, just contact wherever you got it and tell them the problem.

Got it from a friend, then moved.

Just looked.

Isn't the contents of the PHB pretty much all on www.d20srd.org?

Can't access it from china.

The Great Firewall of China blocks that? :smallconfused: What does the Chinese government have against D&D?

It is a product of the decadent imperialist society! Down with the filthy capitalist pigs!

Now, I found this out while I was in China: The d20 SRD is blocked, but this one isn't.

Have fun (http://www.geocities.com/sovelior/srd/home.html).

That's strange, I thought that GitP was blocked in china, too.

I was able to access GitP from China as of summer 2007.

Are any level/exp tables??

Nebo_
2007-12-31, 03:33 AM
No, that isn't OGC.

There was a thread on these forums that linked to a website where you could see if a site was blocked in China; GitP was blocked.

Mate, the Level/XP tables are all calculated the same way in a simple mathematical progression: 1, 3, 6, 10, 15, 21, 28, 36, 45, etc...

That is very odd, because I was able to post in my GitP DnD games while in China over the summer.

I chose to believe my experiences over that website.

The formula for calculating Experience is quite simple and, IIRC, not illegal to post. You just take your current level, multiply it by a thousand, and add it to the XP you needed to gain the previous level.

I tend to believe this is legitimate...simply because if one is merely trying to get a pirate copy, there are a million faster, easier and better ways than asking for it where it's not allowed, like here.

Regardless, no.

The XP tables are on page 22 (assuming you're going by the book's page numbers and not the pdf's), so all you're missing is the base classes which are easily attained through the SRD.

Edit: And there are multiple places to get the SRD. Keep trying.

That isn't a formula. The level forumla is (0.5(x^2-x))*1000, where x is the level you want.

That may be true, but mine is a lot easier to understand.

That Formula can be simplified!
Let x = a level
Let E = Experience needed to level to level x
E = 500(x2-x), where x| [0,∞)

Sure you mean simplified?

Yes, it's a formula.

Here's another formula:
1 cup (2 sticks) (226 grams) unsalted butter, room temperature

3/4 cup (150 grams) granulated white sugar

3/4 cup (160 grams) firmly packed light brown sugar

2 large eggs

1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

2 1/4 cups (315 grams) all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cups (270 grams) semisweet chocolate chips

1 cup (100 grams) walnuts or pecans, coarsely chopped (optional)

Shhhsssshhh! Stop talking about China, they'll ban the internetz again! Or rather... In Soviet China, Internet bans you!

Errr, anyways, I don't know how one gets PHB by pdf, but it's legal and pages are missing, the company should be able and willing to send you a new one after some paperwork. Otherwise, the other linked site should work just fine.

I once blogged about my adventures while sleeping around in Shanghai and my blog got blocked until I took the posts down.

I used this srd while I was in China: http://www.systemreferencedocuments.org/35/sovelior_sage/home.html

4 large eggs
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened

Don't forget garnishes, such as:

Sheriff of Moddingham: Okay, I think we're off-topic enough to close this. OP: "Got it from a friend" suggests that it is not a legal download and thus not really something that can be discussed here. There are various versions of the SRD available online as linked above.
