How do you determine who has more plot armor?

By the amount/severity of crap they survived through. I am sure there is a mathematical function somewhere...

It depends on who's writing the story, with two exceptions:

1. Batman has the second-best plot armor in the multiverse, and wins against anyone no matter who's writing, except for

2. Squirrel Girl.

Batman killed Superman and is a ninja. What did Squirrel Girl do?

Read about her here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Squirrel_girl). It lists foes she has defeated with her extraordinary power of winning fights in which she is severely outclassed (oh, and she can communicate with squirrels and has a bushy tail and buck teeth).

* Dr. Doom
* Mandarin
* Giganto
* M.O.D.O.K.
* Thanos
* Terrax
* Bug-Eyed Voice
* Bi-Beast
* Deadpool
* Pluto

All fall before her. The meta-power of "I win" is unstoppable.

Squirrel Girl has about the greatest plot armor ever.

Seriously.

Comedy plot armor > vanilla plot armor

That's why Bugs Bunny could beat Superman.

How do you determine who has more plot armor?

Why, the markets decide, of course.

The fight breaks off before it is finished, with both characters vowing eloquently to track down and defeat the other.

Alternatively, the fight ends inconclusively and the two characters resolve their differences amicably and band together against other threats.

So, for instance, if Batman fights Spider-Man, the odds are that the fight ends before anybody gets killed and they realize that they really want the same things for almost the same reasons.

People, read this thread and think about it carefully, because it's key to understanding why Vs. threads don't work.

But definitely, Squirrel Girl is awesome and lots more fun than Batman.

Well, they merge of course, to a being that can no longer be controlled by the writers, and open a rift in reality. They than release havoc on our poor, unsuspecting world. So, if Arthas would be fighting Batman, and we would ignore that Arthas is a villain is will likely face defeat, they would merge into Barthas, and would wreak terror upon all the writer's of our world. Salvatore will likely go first.

You shouldn't take plot armor into account in versus threads, since plot armor reflects authorial intent, and the author did not intend for jedi to fight space marines or for Doctor Who to fight Doctor Manhattan.
