It's been 2008 for 16 and a half hours here, and I'm just about feeling brave enough to slip out of my flat in search of a cafe for an all-day-(vegetarian)-fry-up.

How's everyone feeling today? Are all you young whippersnappers feeling happy and healthy? Any old crumblies like me feeling a bit under the weather?

1 wine bottle and 100 ml of vodka here within 30 minutes an hour ago. I'll update when:

1,. I have a sleep.
2. I am feeling well enough to actually get to comp and update.

Whilst I partook of a little pear cider in celebration, I didn't overindulge too much as I have the joy of having to continue on my University work today. So a big

HA! HA!

to all of you with hangovers.

Only because I severly dislike New Years.

Unfortunately I had a very dull new year and didn't consume any alcohol. I never get invited to partiesd when I stay in my hometown.

I'm ok. I don't do hangovers ;)

Strongest thing I had last night was some Dr. Pepper. Seriously, whats the point of having fun on New Years if you can't remember it or wish you hadn't the next day? :smallconfused:

A logical approach to alcohol indulgence is strongly discouraged.

I had some drinks on New Years eve but I didn't go over the top so all I feel is a bit tierd.

I selpt through midnight. Or at least tried to. The FIREWORKS and CELEBRATORY SIRENS conspired to wake me up.
Now, to all of folk with hangvers...

hold on, lemme get the lights and turn on some rather loud, tuneless "music".

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL HANGOVER DAY

I remember most of last night. Was a bit shaky this morning when I woke up but lots of water is fixing that.

Try soup, it's always helping  .

And I didn't drank much yesterday because I celebrated with my kids. Can't drink too much if you have to brush someone elses teeth afterwards.
Oh how I miss the 1 January hangovers :smallwink:

I had three glasses of red wine and two of champagne. I was rather dizzy, but still focused and sober enough to beat my brother in Magic. Got home at around 2, woke up at 5 and got ready in time for my flight back to the Philippines. No problems at all.

I am not hungover so much as dazed. It helps I did not wake up until 2:30 PM my time.

Unless you're mixing that water with Scotch, that's the wrong recipe for the 'Hair of the Dog' ;)

Truly though, one of the best hangover remedies is a bloody Mary...

Me...I took it easy with a few friends last night. Light on the drinking, heavy on the fun. Reason why? 3 young children make hangovers a royal hell...

Woke up around 2pm. fully aware of al that I did and said last noght despite having indulged in a little alcohol. Just got back from a friendly chilled out jaunt to the local. Calm and happy, and nary a headache. Woot!

I played video games at a lan party for ten hours straight, which is like getting drunk, but less evil afterwards.
My favorite moment was when I was in the warthog, and a guy went into the tunnel of the base to get way from me, thinks he's safe, and I just rammed the whole thing into the tunnel after him.

You sir, win. You have made me snort coffee. Stealth Futurama quotes always win.

Thankfully I wasn't hungover after new year. I didn't drink that much. I once had a hangover that lasted two days. Those were a bad two days. Come to think of it. I was hungover a week ago after a friend's 21st. I was fine when I woke up. An hour or two later, whilst I was in town shopping on the other hand, ooh.

I've had some bad hangovers but I had a fairly average one going yesterday morning.
