Druid Cheese!!!

Inspired by the recent posts of eliminating Druid Cheese, I present a quite cheesy, simple, anyone-can-play druid. Thoughts?

Name: Caerid 'Nial' of the Dderwydd
Levels: (PHB) Druid 6 / (BoED) Lion of Talisid10
Animal companion: Dire Lion (when he gets to that level)

Base Stats:

Strength 12
Intelligence 16
Wisdom 18
Dexterity 14
Constitution 17
Charisma 10

Full Spellcasting :biggrin:

Abilities:
Wild Shape (up to Huge, 5/day), full Druid Animal companion progression, pounce, bonus (Sp), Scent...

Feats:

Level 1:
(Human) Improved Initiative, (L1) Dderwydd Chymdeithas Initiate [Dragon magazine 332], (Flaw) Improved Unarmed Strike, (Flaw) Favored of the Champions

Level 3:
Improved Grapple

Level 6:
Natural Spell

Level 9:
Open-ish: Power Attack? Dodge? Extra Wild Shape? Close-Quarters Fighting?

Level 12:
Exalted Wild Shape (cannot take at L9 because of pre-req)

Level 15:
Open

Levels 18 and 21 we may not get to in the campaign

Playing Druidzilla sounds fun... until you realize you're the only one playing.

If you're going with Book of Exalted Cheese, go for Exalted Wildshape. While it won't terribly boost your combat potential, it will grant you at will Dim Door. Veeeeerrryyy nice.

The actual chances of me playing this build are slight, but I do like to have the character lined up. :(

I'm not really going for a DruidZilla, I am keeping the wildshape options reduced to felines for flavor (prestige class) ; Lions, panthers, cheetahs; such as that. Caerid will not be shaping into a dragon, or a fleshraker, or anything like that. :smile:

I do have that lined up at Level 12; that is one of the feats that I do want to take; I would be taking it at 9th level, but I cannot due to the prerequisite Wild Shape level (8th, which is effectively 10th for this build).

Feat: "Dderwydd Chymdeithas Initiate" at level 1 adds the following spells to my spell list (normally Sorc/Wiz spells), also.

1 : Disguise Self(PH p222) – Changes your appearance.
2 : Undetectable Alignment(PH p297) – Conceals alignment for 24 hours.
3 : Helping Hand(PH p239) – Ghostly hand leads subject to you.
4 : Sending(PH p275) – Delivers a short message anywhere, instantly.
5 : Teleport(PH p292) – Instantly transports you as far as 100 miles per level.
6 : Shadow Walk(PH p277) – Step into shadow to travel rapidly.
7 : Sequester(PH p276) – Subject is invisible to sight and scrying.
8 : Discern Location(PH p222) – Reveals the exact location of a creature or object.
9 : Etherealness(PH p228) – Travel to Ethereal Plane with companions.
