Red Light of Doom

On my Xbox 360, I have a single red light in the bottom right quadrant. So far, my post in the support section of the Xbox forums has gone unanswered and I keep getting connected to french tech support. Can anyone help me?

Thanks! That let me find out that my problem was a bad AV cable. Problem is, im stuck, without and Xbox, until tomorrow which means ill have to spend around $40 on a piece of wire just because Bill Gates wants to collect every single penny.

Wait, forty bucks? I think you might be doing it wrong. I got a spare AV cable for like 6 bucks used, and the new ones were like 10-12.

Turns out the cable was $40 and...it wasnt the problem. Likely the jack where it plugs into the Xbox. Tried registering the thing and its not covered by the warranty... so now im completely screwed.
