Over-encumbrance in Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

This might be a stupid question, but how do I drop Items?

My character has been over-encumbered before, but at that time she stood next to a box and i just unloaded my useless stuff there. But now im standing in the middle of a room and I have no idea how to get rid of my things.
