I started a campaign level 5 before the holydays and Im preparing to turn their character to Gestalt. Now I dont know what challenge I could throw at them. What you suggest?

The book suggests treating the group as one higher. Personally, I'd go with something like a CR 7 Hydra.

Right now here is my party :

Warforged Paladin
Warforged Knight
Human Duskblade
Changelin Rogue
Human Duskblade
Human Bard
Human Artificier

They know how optimizing their PC but none of them is doing it to be broken. One of them (the Bard) is very experienced and is optimizing his character for the Roleplay purpose.

Is a Gestalt Campaign is more Epic? Should my campaign looks like Exalted for those who know this game, like : The players are heroes from ancient times that come back and regain slowly their powers but the autorities are chasing them.
