Today I've been doing the set work for over the holidays from my University course, and I've been annoyed at the number of errors my lecturer has made. Little, careless errors like mixing up 1 (numeral one) and I (letter "i") in equations, and ">" (greater than) and "<" (less than) signs. It was obvious from the presentation what his intention was but it still grates, especially for the "greater than/less than" switch- if he hadn't asked us already to do "greater than" then I would still be muddling over where my calculations had gone wrong.
