Its my 18 birthday today:smallbiggrin: . Finally an adult, of course not that much has really changed. Well, I guess I can vote now, which is an improvement.

Of course, it would have been immeasurably better if I didn't have a math midterm today.

However, given that you are in the USA, you still cannot drink. Well... not legally :smallwink:

Just don't lower your guard yet. Although you've passed the most dangerous years, there's still some chance that you actually have latent magical/super power, and then you must leave your comfy home and fight evil.

Growing up is dangerous.

Merry Birthmas. I hope you have an incredibly awesome year, and that you aren't kicking anyone who is likely to kick back. A year closer to senility. Tut.

Never understood that. As my old stand-up friend once put it,

"You can't go, 'WOOOO! I CAN'T FEEL MY LEGS!' but you can go, 'OH, GOD, I CAN'T FEEL MY LEGS!'"

Well, when the voting age was first lowered to 18, the drinking age was to, but then the number of car accidents caused by drunk 18 year-old sky-rocketed, and so it was raised to 21. Thus the people you should blame for not being able to drink are your parents(well, my parents generation, at least).
