Here's rage variant I'm trying to get in use.

It replaces rage, greater rage, and mighty rage

Rage (Ex)

A barbarian can fly into a rage a certain number of times per day. When raging, a barbarian chooses any number of aspects to apply to his rage but he can only choose 1 beast aspect and 1 storm aspect. In a rage, a barbarian temporarily gains a bonus to his ability scores based on which animal aspect he chooses, an alteration to his attack style based on what storm aspect he chooses, and a +2 morale bonus on Will saves, but he takes a -2 penalty to Armor Class. Any increase in Constitution increases the barbarian’s hit points by 2 points per level per 2 points of the bonus, but these hit points go away at the end of the rage when his Constitution score drops back to normal. (These extra hit points are not lost first the way temporary hit points are.) While raging, a barbarian cannot use any Charisma-, Dexterity-, or Intelligence-based skills (except for Balance, Escape Artist, Intimidate, and Ride), the Concentration skill, or any abilities that require patience or concentration, nor can he cast spells or activate magic items that require a command word, a spell trigger (such as a wand), or spell completion (such as a scroll) to function. He can use any feat he has except Combat Expertise, item creation feats, and metamagic feats. A fit of rage lasts for a number of rounds equal to 3 + the character’s (if improved) Constitution modifier. A barbarian may prematurely end his rage. At the end of the rage, the barbarian loses the rage modifiers and restrictions and becomes fatigued (-2 penalty to Strength, -2 penalty to Dexterity, can’t charge or run) for the duration of the current encounter (unless he is a 17th-level barbarian, at which point this limitation no longer applies).

A barbarian can fly into a rage only once per encounter. At 1st level he can use his rage ability once per day. At 4th level and every four levels thereafter, he can use it one additional time per day (to a maximum of six times per day at 20th level). Entering a rage takes no time itself, but a barbarian can do it only during his action, not in response to someone else’s action.

Beast Aspect (Ex)

A barbarian may take on a beast aspect when in a rage. At the 1st level, barbarian chooses 1 beast aspect that he may take on during a rage. At the 5th level and every 5 level thereafter, he may choose another beast aspect to add to his repertoire. A barbarian can only have 1 beast aspect active during a rage at a time.

{table=head] Beast Aspect | Ability adjustment
Bear | Con +6
Bull | Str +6
Monkey | Dex +6
Wolf | Str +2, Dex +2 Con +2
Boar | Str +2 Con+4
Lion | Str +4, Con+2
Leopard | Str +2, Dex +4,
Spr | Str +4, Dex +2
Snake| Dex +2 Con +4
Rat | Dex +4, Con+2[/table]

Storm Aspect (Ex)

A barbarian may take on a storm aspect when in a rage. At the 3st level, barbarian chooses 1 storm aspect that he may take on during a rage. At the 10th and 17th level, he may choose another storm aspect to add to his repertoire. A barbarian can only have 1 storm aspect active during a rage at a time.

Tornado: The barbarian may make one extra attack in a round at his highest base attack bonus, but this attack takes a -2 penalty, as does each other attack made that round. This penalty applies for 1 round, so it also affects attacks of opportunity the barbarian might make before his next action.

Firestorm: The barbarian adds 1d4 fire damage to his attacks when using unarmed or natural attacks, or when using light weapons. This damage increases to 2d4 at level 6, 3d4 at level 11, and 4d4 at level 16.

Blizzard: The barbarian adds 1d4 cold damage to his attacks when using unarmed or natural attacks, or when using light weapons. This damage increases to 2d4 at level 6, 3d4 at level 11, and 4d4 at level 16.

Thunderstorm: The barbarian adds 1d4 electricity damage to his attacks when using unarmed or natural attacks, or when using light weapons. This damage increases to 2d4 at level 6, 3d4 at level 11, and 4d4 at level 16.

Hurricane: The barbarian gains a 1d6 slam attack. If the barbarian is Small, his slam attack deals 1d4 points of damage, and if the barbarian is Large, his slam attack deals 1d8 points of damage. A barbarian that hits with a slam attack can attempt to trip the opponent as a free action without making a touch attack or provoking an attack of opportunity.

Sandstorm: The barbarian gains a 1d6 claw attack attack for each arm. If the barbarian is Small, his claw attack deals 1d4 points of damage, and if the barbarian is Large, his claw attack deals 1d8 points of damage.

Dire Beast Rage (Ex)

At 11th level, a barbarian’s bonuses caused by his beast aspects to Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution during his rage each double (+4 becomes + 8 etc), and his morale bonus on Will saves increases to +3. The penalty to AC remains at -2

Raging Storm (Ex)

At 20th level, a barbarian’s storm aspects grant powerful effects that resemble spells while in a rage. These effects have a caster level equal to his barbarian levels and cannot be dispelled

Tornado - Jump, Freedom of Movement
Sandstorm- Barkskin, Haste
Firestrom- Fire Shield (warm shield), Longstrider
Blizzard- Fire Shield (cold shield), Longstrider
Thunderstorm- Protection from Energy (electricity), Longstrider
Hurricane- Greater Magic Fang, Displacement

A barbarian can fly into a rage a certain number of times per day. When raging, a barbarian chooses any number of aspects to apply to his rage but he can only choose 1 beast aspect and 1 storm aspect.

This wording is extremely poor, it probably should read.

"When raging a Barbarian chooses any 1 beast aspect and any 1 storm aspect to apply to his rage."

I like the concept a lot though.

Well I wanted the wording to allow only using a beast or storm aspect, if needed. This because storm aspects where split into 2 groups originally and the elemental aspects gave big penalties.

Also added Firestorm and changed Sandstorm.

Doubling the bonuses on Dire Beast Rage seems a bit much for the +6 ability increases.

+12 Str or Dex at level 11 is nothing compared to 2 or 3 low level spells. + 6 damage/attack or +6 AC/Reflex? Yawn.

But +12 Con is 6 hp per level is very nice and tough. But your a barbarian, that your job.
