Searching Question

When using the search function, it requires me to wait 5 minutes between searches. Is this a normal or is it some weird glitch?
I guess I'm wondering because it's bloody annoying to search and then be forced to wait 300 seconds before searching again.

It's normal, and has to do with server and bandwidth load issues, as far as I know.

This has to do with server load issues, searching is a very intensive process. We want people to be able to search however, so we haven't turned it off completely.

you could always use Google to search the site just add site:giantitp.com to your search string, and it'll restrict it to just this site.
