A recent thread brought up telepathy and the mindsight feat. I'm currently designing a level 20 BBEG for my DM to throw at us, and this is definitely something this guy should have. Is there any way to get a LE Human Cleric (he's cleric 20 right now, but his build is entirely up to me, race would be.... more difficult to change) telepathy without giving up more than a single caster level?

Mindbender 1 grants telepathy. It's an Arcane class, though, so...

There's a prestige class in the Complete Divine that I think grants a minor telepathy....Church Inquisitor, I think it is?

Helm of Telepathy works I suppose.

No, you need it as a special quality.

Mind Domain? Ithalid Cleric of Cthuhlu or That Damn Crab? Cleric with a Tsochar 'friend' or two.

Actually that last one may be easiest to add in as the Tsochar have 100ft telepathy with all speaking beings and can conceivable act as translators for their hosts. Kind of like a Bablefish with an agenda of its own then.

Better yet the Tsochar could take the Mindsight feat and pinpoint all non-mindless beings.

Divine Disciple (FRCS) allows you to communicate telepathically with outsiders who share your alignment, or worship your deity.
(Probably not what you want, as it's got to be one of the worst class features I've ever come across)

If you want to communicate with fixed creatures (like a party member), you can always get someone to cast Permanancy (or do it yourself if you have the Time Domain) + Telepathic Bond on you & your party.

Just to CMA, mindsight would bypass darkstalker, right?

Well, suppose you had a pet Psuedodragon...
