In reading this thread:
http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=599129
I saw references to a Prc called the Gondian Techsmith and a feat called Soul Crafting.
What books are these from?

Well, Gondsmen are from forgotten realms so I would start with those books...They are close enough to the snowflake mountians that cadderly was a 'gondish' man by birth and found his way there...probably in one of the regional books, but not sure which.

Never heard of the other feat though.

The PrC you are talking about is caleld Techsmith and its from Faiths & Parthenons. It is FR exclusive though.

I can't find the feat. You sure you have the right name for it?

There's a PrC from Faiths & Pantheons called Techsmith that mentions Gond (see the Prestige Class Index (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/lists/prc)). I can't seem to find the feat, even in the Feat Index (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/lists/feats).

*Actually looks at the link referenced, notes that the reference is to Soul Crafting Rules*

It isn't a feat.

I believe that Gond is a god, not a region. Cadderly is called a Gondsman because he invents new things, an aspect of Gond the Wonder Bringer.

Thanks all for the Prc location.
Looks like there isn't a Soul Crafting feat then. Does anyone know what Soul Crafting rules he's referencing?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that's referring to the Book of Vile Darkness, which allows souls to be used in place of material compenents for spells, or for XP when crafting magic items.

Yep that's it. Just checked BoVD. Souls can be used in place of XP costs and as additional components to evil spells, granting either +2 DC or +10 vs SR.
Thanks all.
