Waldo's really freakin hard to find.
Warhammer 40k is science fantasy written by middle schoolers.

So who wins?

I do believe this falls under the realm of Cavemen vs Astronauts (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=70661). Nice try, though.

You know, Warhammer 40k isn't really intended to be totally serious. It's been moving more towards a serious/cinematic bent as it gets more mainstream I think, but in previous editions there was a lot of black comedy. Sometimes subtle, sometimes not. >>

That's the Emperor on His Golden Throne circa Rogue Trader (First Edition).

You know thats a lot worse then I thought. I at least pictured him entombed or something.

What, you're not floored with the almighty God-Emperor of Mankind? XD

Does anyone have a newer picture that we could compare to this, um, majestic figure?

Meh, the first one was cooler even if it had worse art. Nobody looks cool in a super-coma, and trying to show otherwise is just boring.

Were it not for the tubes connected to him I would've guessed that he weren't in his coma.

Man, what is it the WH40k artists and skulls. For Christsake, the Emperor has skulls on his intravenous tubes. That's ridiculous.

Heh, anyone here play Dawn of War? You know how the Orks had looted Leman Russes? Well check out the looted GOLDEN THRONE!

After I get bored of happy Zuko, the guy in the lower right corner shall be my new avatar.

I dunno Tengu...shrinking down the Empo-cart to avatar size seems pretty funny too.

I refuse to believe I'm the only person who thought of "Popemobile" at the mention of "Empocart".

I am not sure will there be a sufficient level of detail after shrinking it, though... but it's a good idea!

You're not.

Try a sigatar.

I hate sigatars with a passion. Apart from my own Tengu, he's cool. And he doesn't count anyway, because he started as an avatar.

Nah, not even the Emperor can beat Waldo (grr... he's 'Wally', and you know it).

He has to find him first:

Also, Tengu, I was personally more terrified by Smiling Yuki than anything else.

Nah. Where do you think Empo-cart came from?

I'm going to agree with this. As did the happy Gendo. Though Happy Gendo made me confuse you with Semidi, for some reason. He had an Abe Lincoln Mosaic avatar...

I know. I couldn't find the disturbing avatar I was looking for so instead I settled for an amusing one. It still creeps Nerd-o-Rama out, though.

Waldo will hang out with the Inqusitions #1 Target: Carmen Sandiego. They won't find either of them.
Edit: shouldn't that be "Da empokart"

Speaking from someone who's never played Warhammer...the Emperor looks a lot more human than i thought he would.
