Skill Points at 1st Level: (4 + Int modifier) × 4
Skill Points at Each Additional Level: 4 + Int modifier

Weapon and Armor Proficiency

A barbarian is proficient with all simple and martial weapons, nets, bolas, light armor, medium armor, and shields (except tower shields).

Fast Movement (Ex)

A barbarian’s land speed is faster than the norm for his race by +10 feet. This benefit applies only when he is wearing no armor, light armor, or medium armor and not carrying a heavy load. Apply this bonus before modifying the barbarian’s speed because of any load carried or armor worn.

Illiteracy

Barbarians are the only characters who do not automatically know how to read and write. A barbarian may spend 2 skill points to gain the ability to read and write all languages he is able to speak.

A barbarian who gains a level in any other class automatically gains literacy. Any other character who gains a barbarian level does not lose the literacy he or she already had.

Rage (Ex)

A barbarian can fly into a rage a certain number of times per day. When raging a Barbarian chooses up to 1 beast aspect and up to 1 storm aspect to apply to his rage.. In a rage, a barbarian temporarily gains a bonus to his ability scores based on which animal aspect he chooses, an alteration to his attack style based on what storm aspect he chooses, and a +2 morale bonus on Will saves, but he takes a -2 penalty to Armor Class. Any increase in Constitution increases the barbarian’s hit points by 2 points per level per 2 points of the bonus, but these hit points go away at the end of the rage when his Constitution score drops back to normal. (These extra hit points are not lost first the way temporary hit points are.) While raging, a barbarian cannot use any Charisma-, Dexterity-, or Intelligence-based skills (except for Balance, Escape Artist, Intimidate, and Ride), the Concentration skill, or any abilities that require patience or concentration, nor can he cast spells or activate magic items that require a command word, a spell trigger (such as a wand), or spell completion (such as a scroll) to function. He can use any feat he has except Combat Expertise, item creation feats, and metamagic feats. A fit of rage lasts for a number of rounds equal to 1 + the character’s (if improved) Constitution modifier. A barbarian may prematurely end his rage. At the end of the rage, the barbarian loses the rage modifiers and restrictions and becomes fatigued (-2 penalty to Strength, -2 penalty to Dexterity, can’t charge or run) for the duration of the current encounter (unless he is a 17th-level barbarian, at which point this limitation no longer applies).

At 1st level he can use his rage ability once per encounter. At 4th level and every four levels thereafter, he can use it one additional time per encounter(to a maximum of six times per day at 20th level). Entering a rage takes no time itself, but a barbarian can do it only during his action, not in response to someone else’s action. After a barbarian exits a rage, he cannot enter another rage for 2 turns.

Beast Aspect (Ex)

A barbarian may take on a beast aspect when in a rage. At the 1st level, barbarian chooses 1 beast aspect that he may take on during a rage. At the 5th level and every 5 level thereafter, he may choose another beast aspect to add to his repertoire. A barbarian can only have 1 beast aspect active during a rage at a time.

{table=head] Beast Aspect | Ability adjustment
Bear | Con +6
Bull | Str +6
Monkey | Dex +6
Wolf | Str +2, Dex +2 Con +2
Boar | Str +2 Con+4
Lion | Str +4, Con+2
Leopard | Str +2, Dex +4,
Wolverine | Str +4, Dex +2
Snake| Dex +2 Con +4
Rat | Dex +4, Con+2[/table]

Uncanny Dodge (Ex)

At 2nd level, a barbarian retains his Dexterity bonus to AC (if any) even if he is caught flat-footed or struck by an invisible attacker. However, he still loses his Dexterity bonus to AC if immobilized. If a barbarian already has uncanny dodge from a different class, he automatically gains improved uncanny dodge instead.

Trap Sense (Ex)

Starting at 3rd level, a barbarian gains a +1 bonus on Reflex saves made to avoid traps and a +1 dodge bonus to AC against attacks made by traps. These bonuses rise by +1 every three barbarian levels thereafter (6th, 9th, 12th, 15th, and 18th level). Trap sense bonuses gained from multiple classes stack.

Storm Aspect (Ex)

A barbarian may take on a storm aspect when in a rage. At the 3st level, barbarian chooses 1 storm aspect that he may take on during a rage. At the 10th and 17th level, he may choose another storm aspect to add to his repertoire. A barbarian can only have 1 storm aspect active during a rage at a time.

Tornado: The barbarian may make one extra attack in a round at his highest base attack bonus, but this attack takes a -2 penalty, as does each other attack made that round. This penalty applies for 1 round, so it also affects attacks of opportunity the barbarian might make before his next action.

Firestorm: The barbarian takes only half damage from fire-based attacks. If such an attack allows a Reflex save for half damage, take no damage on a successful save. Also as long as the barbarian is has been dealt 10 lethal damage in the during the day, he adds 1d4 fire damage to his attacks when using unarmed or natural attacks, or when using light weapons due to his blood catching aflame. This damage increases to 2d4 at level 6, 3d4 at level 11, and 4d4 at level 16.

Blizzard: The barbarian takes only half damage from cold-based attacks. If such an attack allows a Reflex save for half damage, take no damage on a successful save. Also as long as the barbarian is has been dealt 10 lethal damage in the during the day, he gain a +4 natural armor bonus to Armor Class from the sheets of ice that form over his body.. This armor bonus increases to +6 at level 6, +8 at level 11, and +10 at level 16.

Thunderstorm: The barbarian takes only half damage from electric-based attacks. If such an attack allows a Reflex save for half damage, take no damage on a successful save. Also as long as the barbarian is has been dealt 10 lethal damage in the during the day, he adds 1 point of electricity damage to his attacks due to electricity flowing from his blood. This damage increases to 2 at level 6, 3 at level 11, and 4 at level 16.

Hurricane: The barbarian gains a 1d6 slam attack. If the barbarian is Small, his slam attack deals 1d4 points of damage, and if the barbarian is Large, his slam attack deals 1d8 points of damage. A barbarian that hits with a slam attack can attempt to trip the opponent as a free action without making a touch attack or provoking an attack of opportunity.

Sandstorm: The barbarian gains a 1d6 claw attack for each arm. If the barbarian is Small, his claw attack deals 1d4 points of damage, and if the barbarian is Large, his claw attack deals 1d8 points of damage.

Combat Reflexes

At the 4th level, the barbarian gains Combat Reflexes as a bonus feat.

Improved Uncanny Dodge (Ex)

At 5th level and higher, a barbarian can no longer be flanked. This defense denies a rogue the ability to sneak attack the barbarian by flanking him, unless the attacker has at least four more rogue levels than the target has barbarian levels. If a character already has uncanny dodge from a second class, the character automatically gains improved uncanny dodge instead, and the levels from the classes that grant uncanny dodge stack to determine the minimum level a rogue must be to flank the character.

Damage Reduction (Ex)

At 7th level, a barbarian gains Damage Reduction. Subtract 1 from the damage the barbarian takes each time he is dealt damage from a weapon or a natural attack. At 10th level, and every three barbarian levels thereafter (13th, 16th, and 19th level), this damage reduction rises by 1 point. Damage reduction can reduce damage to 0 but not below 0.

Dire Beast Rage (Ex)

At 11th level, a barbarian’s bonuses caused by his beast aspects to Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution during his rage each double (+4 becomes + 8 etc), and his morale bonus on Will saves increases to +3. The penalty to AC remains at -2

Bite

At level 13, the barbarian gains a 1d4 bite attack

Tireless Rage (Ex)

At 17th level and higher, a barbarian no longer becomes fatigued at the end of his rage.

Raging Storm (Ex)

At 20th level, a barbarian’s storm aspects grant powerful effects that resemble spells while in a rage. These effects have a caster level equal to his barbarian levels and the cannot be dispelled

Tornado - Freedom of Movement, Cat’s Grace
Sandstorm- Haste, Cat’s Grace
Firestrom- Fire Shield (warm shield), Bull’s Strength
Blizzard- Fire Shield (cold shield), Bear’s Endurance
Thunderstorm- Blink, Bull’s Strength
Hurricane- Displacement, Bear’s Endurance

if he chooses sandstorm, he gains 2 attacks, whereas if he chooses hurricane, he only gets one, plus a potential trip. both do same d. i suppose it logically sounds balanced to me, but feels off.

It's about equal. 1 free trip vs 2 bonus attacks. Hurricane is nice for defense with Combat Reflexes. Sandstorm allows more offense.

I wish there were more types of storms to use. It'd use earthquakes but... it's not really a storm.
