Gauntlets of Eldritch Devastation
These wicked gauntlets are made of cold iron to appear as the lower arm of a devil or other foul denizen of the lower planes with wicked claws, barbs or spikes, heavy bands like manacles, and a nasty implement right below the wearers elbow joint. These gauntlets, once attached pierce the lower arm of the wearer below the elbow and tap into his blood. This process deals 2 points of con damage that can not be restored until the gauntlets are removed. While on the wearers forearms, the pieces of magical iron deep within the owner’s blood aid their power to his or her Eldritch Blast, changing its base damage by one die (example, an eldritch blast affected by the gauntlets of eldritch devastation deal d8’s instead of d6’s).

Nice item. If my DM allowed warlocks, I'd definitely invest in a pair.

I like it a lot, the only problem I had is the pricing. It seems a bit expensive, though the extra damage is nice, I wouldn't pay 45k for that and 2 unremovable Con damage. I would lower it down to about 25 or 20k.

Hey, you stole mine. I love it but it does seem a little pricey.

Bestow curse? Claws of darkness?

Is it possible for an item to have invocation prerequisites, or the ability to use Eldritch Blast? (In terms of creation, that is)

Possibly a graft?

bestow curse because it hurts you with con drain, it is to show its dark nature, and the claws of darkness for much the same. Both spells are to show it is not a GOOD weapon, while not being evil.

:smallconfused: This is really badly priced.
Two points of con damage for +10 damage on average at higher levels? In addition to costing 35,000 gp? Bad prices.
Cool concept though.
