Items to Capture Characters?

What good items exist for the binding / capture / arrest of characters? I was thinking along the lines of manacles that lock automatically (seeing as handcuffs don't exist in lower tech worlds). It's pretty easy to design some yourself (manacles that arcane lock themselves), but do these items already exist?

There are some man-catchers in the Book of Exalted Deeds. They basically let you Grapple people from a distance. The Book also has a Lasso.

You could turn those spheres of Invulnerability into magic items. Forcecage is a fan-favorite. Dimensional Anchor is traditionally used to prevent magical travel.

Wand of Hold Person
Hold Monster
Charm/Dominate
Flesh to Stone
Magic Jar
Temporal Stasis (if you feel really nasty about it).
