Name the Cartoon: A Question

I keep meaning to ask here, but kept forgetting.

I have a very vague memory of a cartoon I saw once as a child. I remember virtually nothing about it, not even if I liked it or not.

All I have to go on is that I remember that all of the sound effects in it were simply the cast narrating the sound.

I remember a group of people walking through a forest or something to the sound of "trudge, trudge, trudge" and that I thought it very strange.

Any ideas?

I remember an old Charlie Brown and Snoopy cartoon having that kind of thing. That what you're thinking of?

Well, I was going to respond again to admit my regret that I couldn't really be any more specific. I then reasserted my knowledge of Google-fu and tried a search for "trudge trudge trudge" and "cartoon" and came up with The Gift of Winter (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0308313/) (specifically, this (http://www.avclub.com/content/feature/ghosts_of_christmas_past_15/2) is the site that came up, I then did an IMDB once I had a title).

Looks like the reason nobody knows it is that it was just terrible (which I can't remember either way, so it couldn't have made too big of an impression).

Anyone else ever heard of it, let alone seen it?
