No attachments allowed?

Sorry if this has been discussed before, but I can't find other threads dealing with this:

I noticed that I can't add attachments to posts. I hope to run a PbP here and they prove rather useful.

I this due to bandwidth issues, or is there something I'm missing?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

To my knowledge, these boards have never allowed attachments. From my experience, very few boards allow attachments at all.

Just host your document somewhere else and provide a link.

What exactly were you planning to use attachments for? There's free hosting around the internet for many kinds of files (Photobucket or Imageshack for images, Google Docs for a lot of other stuff, and even several sites like myth-weavers with ready-made XML character sheets). Host them offsite and link.

Because Jedi aren't allowed to have love interests, i.e. "no attachments".
