I'm not sure where they get their info on this site, full of cookie goodness no doubt.

:smallamused:

yes some of the stats for GITP are quite intresting...

5% of the audience of GITP "viewers" are addicts
that 5% use 28% of the total visits.

It is really worrying about how they can get this information. This is why I try to get rid of Spybots which may infect my computer.

Do you have any ideas which may work against this particular program? (I'm not very good with computers).

#9: Lolicon...

I really should not think too deeply into what this intails.

To those of you who don't know what lolicon is, Wikipedia can "help" there. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lolicon)

in short, they can see your computers adress and count how many times you wisit. I guess they find the age either by looking at the age you register with at the forum, or the age of the registered owner for your computer

Doubleplusgood.

That always got on my nerves. How would one emulate "badness"? Halfminusbad? Or doubleplusbad? The first indicates less badness (you're halving the little badness), but the latter makes badness sound good. :smallsigh:

I think it was more a case of making people think things weren't bad. The term would be ungood.

Ah, newspeak... How fun. It is certanly an odd idea for how a language would progress but I think it would be horrific if it got to that point.

But as a little tip, all things are done in the positive light and then the prefix 'un-' is slapped on the 'good' part of it. So: "doubleplusungood" Or "very, very bad."

But as for topic bits, It makes me wonder who took the time to set up that site... Although I will say it is quite amusing to see the estimations there...
