Impossible. How could the production of a new Star Wars movie go unnoticed for so long? I've known about the next Indiana Jones for some time (Kingdom of the Crystal Skull comes out May 22!).

...IMDB has something called Secrets of the Rebellion (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1038917/) due June 10. I've got no idea what that is, but I highly doubt it's official. Aside from that, the only stuff I see due 2008 with Star Wars in the title are a video game (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1024923/) and a documentary (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1046895/).

A new Star Wars 3D Computer Generated series. They've been releasing info on it for the last year. It was originally just going to be on Cartoon Network (like the previous clone wars cartoon), but they're doing a theatrical release first.

It takes place during the Clone Wars, and originally was going to be random stories about different Jedi, but apparently it's focusing on Anakin.

I...honestly don't know how to feel about this. I am a confessed Star Wars fanatic, I say that right now. But I'm not sure how the digital medium will hold up.

Don't get me wrong: I like the idea that somebody's taking animation seriously, and I'm probably going to end up seeing the movie, but I'm just a little off-put that George Lucas hasn't been hyping this up for at least the past six months.

Then again, that could be a very good sign...
