RSS feed size

I don't know if the option is available in the rss feed package, but it would be nice to have the file smaller. At the moment, the feed size is pretty big (133k) so the default 24 hours update time is reasonable, but only by managing the content of the feed, say the last 10 entries or the last two weeks, would shrink that size around 3k, so for the same bandwidth the (mostly useless, because I usually see it first on the frontpage or a friend mention it) feed now consumes, I could update it more than once every hour. And those figures can only grow bigger with time.

Looks like the RSS feed issues have been 'fixed'

Mine no longer displays anything :sigh: I'm guessing that this is on purpose? I was just surprised that there's no sign of an anouncement to the effect that to try and help the server it's been disabled for a while...

Unless it's just busted?
