I want to see some stats for a gazebo.
Remember that it can only be hurt by axes and fire, and that detect good doesn't affect it.

AC 0

HP 200.

There you are.Actually, it should have a much higher AC, as the size penalty would only be 1 or 2, not having a Dex score means no Dex penalty, and odds are it has some decent natural armor. I'd put it at either 11 or 13, depending on the size.

No Dex score means no dex penalty?

So a more-than-averagely clumsy person is actually *easier* to hit than a statue?

Don't forget it's special quality.. Seemingly Innocuous: Most people think the Gazebo is harmless, only characters with an intelligence score below 10, or illiterate characters know that a Gazebo is really a menace. Literate characters with an intelligence of 10 or higher, or characters with atleast 1 rank of Knowledge (Architecture and Engineering) will not attack a Gazebo, or aid anyone in attacking a Gazebo in any way.

No Dex score, or any non-ability, is a -5 modifier. So it's got a -5 Dex, some natural armor, and a size penalty.

The Formian Queen (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/formian.htm) has no Dex score and lacks a Dex penalty to her AC.

Because she's a queen.

The Formian Queen (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/formian.htm) has no Dex score and lacks a Dex penalty to her AC.Not to mention Undead and Constructs don't suffer Con penalties to hp, so I'll stick with the no Dex penalty.

Unearthly Terror (Su): The Gazebo fixes it´s unerathly, vengeful gaze upon your character, crushing the PC´s measly little ego. All PCs within 60ft. of the Gazebo take 1d4 Charisma damage and 6d6 nonlethal damage. A Will save (DC 22) negates the charisma damage and halves the damage taken. The DC is charisma based.

Aura of Despair (Su) (Mind affecting, Fear): All creatures within 120ft. of the Gazebo must make a Will Save (DC 23) or become become shaken and receive a -2 morale penalty on all saves, attack roles and checks. The save DC is Charisma-based and includes the bonus granted by Ability Focus.

Drain Essence (Su): Any unconscious or comatose creature within 60 ft. of the Gazebo is subject to this attack, requiring it to make a DC 17 Fortitude Save or die instantly. Creatures slain thus cannot be ressurected by mortal magic until the Gazebo is destroyed. For every 4 creatures consumed, the Gazebo gains 1 HD. The save DC is Wisdom-based.

Just some ad-hoc stuff......

Official (albeit third-party) stats for the Gazebo can be found in the Munchkin D20 Monster Manual by Steve Jackson Games. It is 3.0 and wasn't updated afaik.

It's an old D&D inside-joke. You can read about it here (http://www.brunchma.com/archives/Forum13/HTML/000133.html).

Just FYI:

Some creatures lack certain ability scores. These creatures do not have an ability score of 0—they lack the ability altogether. The modifier for a nonability is +0. Other effects of nonabilities are detailed below.

But also:

An inanimate object has not only a Dexterity of 0 (-5 penalty to AC), but also an additional -2 penalty to its AC. Furthermore, if you take a full-round action to line up a shot, you get an automatic hit with a melee weapon and a +5 bonus on attack rolls with a ranged weapon.

Ah, but the gazebo only wants you to think it's immobile... it catches the poor fellow in the end, after all!

That sounds like a similar story that happened in a Brazilian forum recently. The difference is that the group managed to destroy the Evil Cactus of Doom (that dealt damage when the characters tried to touch it) with a fireball, after several diplomacy checks, and even uses of charm person and charm monster.
