I am sorry if this is a bit odd. But I can't find out how to make links from thread to thread. Can someone help me?

This:

TEXT (http://www.exampleaddress.com)

becomes this:

TEXT (http://www.exampleaddress.com)

To link from thread to thread, just switch the example address for the URL of the thread in question.

Alternatively, if you know the thread number, you can do it like this...

Text

The thread number is the last 5 digits in the url if you're looking at it after clicking on the thread title from the forum. For example this thread is 72980 so this...

This has the advantage of opening the link directly in the same window/tab as the one you are currently viewing as the board software will recognize it as a link to elsewhere on the board.

You can do the same with the tags. Though to get the number of a post, you have to follow the link of the reply number along the upper right edge of the post. (Zeb's above says "#3", for example). The post number is everything between the "postid=" and the "&" in the url on the page that pops up.

So to link directly to Zeb's post, I would use "Zeb's post."
