All of the entries this month are pretty good, it was a tough choice but I've decided to give my vote to The Eight Brothers.

Porcelain Doll for me, but the Raisuden really stole my heart!!! (I'm so gonna use it next campaign). I originally intended to give my vote to it, but the Porcelain Doll is too well-realized and flavourful to not be considered.

I'm going to vote for the Raisuden.

Carnivorous. Rice. Can't beat it.

I'm going to vote Raisuden too, but Porcelain Doll is a good idea as well.

I'm going with Raisuden.

Overall I think this was a good competition with solid output from everyone. Really.

It was a tough choice but I'm going with The Eight Brothers.

Yes, this is one of the more solid contests so far.

Raisuden!

BTW, what is the size of the individuals in the swarm? It was not stated, but I figured fine.

Err... *curses*

Grax, you just noticed something I totally overlooked when going over it. Going to have to have a little talk as they can't be medium and be a swarm...

Sorry, I wasn't particularly familiar with the rules for swarms.

This one was hard :smallfrown:
After much deliberation, I've decided to go with the Eight Brothers
Porcelain Doll, Raisuden, and Gorin no Oni were all close.

My Vote goes to The Eight Brothers. This is simply too versatile to let slide by. Fitting anywhere into any campaign setting, at almost any level. At lower levels one sword at a time is easy enough, while at higher levels things like Evolved Tomb-Warden Eight Brother's of the Ancient Frost Giant Jarhl's can be quite intimidating.

Though all the other monsters were beautiful as well. Living Rice is fun, a greatsword looking for it's new master is also a great idea. All of them, good work.

Forsaken Blade
Monstrous Silk Worm
Porcelain Doll
Raisuden
The Eight Brothers

It's close. Ohhhhhh, it's so close. If I ever run an Oriental Adventures campaign, I'd like to use them all. But my vote is gonna be The Eight Brothers.

As much as I like all the entries, I'm going to have to give my vote to the Porcelain Doll. The idea, to me, is really creepy, which is a huge plus.

And voting has come to a close.

TheEscapist wins this month's contest with his creation, the Eight Brothers!

The VT's Choice Award goes to Jaerc's Hollow Vicegerent which I thought was creative and had some very original mechanics.

Congratulations!

Woo-hooo!!! To be honest, I'm surprised I won. They were all so good, I thought I was the underdog... But thank you all for your votes.
