So I've plotted out a long campaign, long enough to nearly rival Savage Tide, with room for stretching and mapped the first adventure. However, I currently have No One to play DnD with. So as to not feel like my efforts were in vain, I am willing to "Outsource" my ideas to any DM of a live game. I will supply the plot and help with the rules/enemies/mapping/etc. And in exchange I will recieve updates on the condition of the game.

Anyone interested?

I think a big part of the fun of DMing is thinking up your campaign, is it not?
Wouldn't it be a better idea for you to run the campaign on the boards?

I have two rebuttals

Firstly, it seems everyday I see dms looking for adventure Ideas, so I figure someone might like a plot they don't have to think of themselves.

Second, besides the fact I'm already running one PbP game on RPOL.net called Race to the West, action based DnD games don't seem to work well in a PbP setting due to poor handling of combat.

True and True.
Or if forum posting is not your style, do the chatroom style.
Alternatively, setup a poster and see who is interested

Two friends of mine had been playing D&D for almost a year online when he found the other person they had been playing with went to the same school.

Hmm...how restrictive is the adventure? And does it expect players to play dumb or very smart? This is because I'm building/testing a 3.5/4th edition campaign setting, which is rather sandboxy, and with some altered rules ("Forget it, a crushing ceiling means you're dead if you can't find the way out". "Roll an INT check. *Proceeds to give hints to those who pass the check*". "There's a way to get criticals for immunes. It's this special feat".). Thus, the variants could completely break the adventure.

Well, it's a pretty broad plot. Some Railroading may occur. If it helps, I've titled the campaign Religion and Politics, and requires a monarchial human empire with a metropolis as its capital, a polytheistic pantheon, a council made of the penultimate religious leaders that advises the king, and a nearby elven nation. Thos are the biggest plot points, and there are several places within the overall for some downtime and some freeform.

I may run a campaign soon. Probably not, knowing me, and I'll likely make massive and bizarre changes to details/themes/etc., but send me a synopsis anyway.

Great minds think alike. Indeed, I have the metropoli (Three human ones, a dwarfish one, an elven, and a Xeph land), the pantheon, and the nation. And the idea of a religion based monarchy is plainly brilliant for one of the human empires. Tell me something more, it sounds REALLY interesting.

Well, the way I see it, the King does his best to act without following any of the Gods, but the council was formed anyways to keep the support of the religious.

Well to start, the characters should be around 5th level, and already have a reputation (like a smaller campaign arc). They arrive at the capital city looking for bigger and better things. Shortly after arriving, they are contacted by Sir Leonar d'Barret, a seargent in the king's guard. He asks them to travel to the distant frontier town of Frost Keep and return with his childhood friend Elai. Along the way, the players meet an important NPC, meet another NPC in town, and find out that Elai had been kidnapped by monsters! A unique dungeon crawl ensues as the players go to save her.

Wait a minute. are you reading my mind or something? I even had that SAME level planned for the beginning of the campaign. And more or less the same beginning (Though mine included a double agent Bard who played a spanish guitar version of Bark at the moon)! Plus, it fits in giving the PC's a reason to travel to the Eastern North, where it's brutally cold and people live on cities carved from Icebergs. And let's not even talk of the NPC's, since I've a few ideas there. And a REALLY unique dungeon crawl: A sentient dungeon-esque creature, which mutates so as to kill adventurers and feed on their remains. The PC's will have to find a way to inflict enough damage to get out, and in the process might find a few items to make the trip to the icelands easier.

Whoa. Talk about being lost in thought. So, how does it continue once the PC's arrive to the town and escort the friend back?

Before I go on, I need to know if you actually plan to go along with my proposal.

And besides, I have it all written down on my other computer and will get it in the morning. There's defenitely more to it than what I said.

Indeed, I plan to integrate it. It'll be one of the major "paths" the players will be able to take (Since my players are very fond of freeform and hate railroading with a passion, I usually have to come up with a bunch of campaigns even when they only see one. So this time, knowing they'll split, I'll make different major paths that will affect the world and each other so that they can actually shape the world), and will affect the gameworld in a significant manner. I'd like to integrate it into the gameworld, since it sounds like sheer distilled awesome.
