favorite fight scene?

going back over the archives, its always fun to see how rich can make a stick figure fight into an epic battle, whats your favorite combat scenes done this far?


for me, gotta be the fight between :xykon: and soon, but a close second is the first fight between the order and the original linear guild

Well, I have to say, my favorite OotS fight scene is in the book No Cure for the Paladin Blues:I just love Elan's recreation of the big fight scenes from Dungeon Crawlin' Fools in the prologue of No Cure. Priceless.

As for ones available online, I'm not sure. The first big fight between the Order and the Linear Guild is certainly fun. So is the second one in Cliffport for that matter. The Miko fights are pretty fun to watch, too.

EDIT: you know, its kind of odd, :roy: is far and away my favorite character, but he didn't make my list ast all. hell even in the linear fight scene the part he factored in wasn't even a fight at all, it was that tactical error intimidate check he made against :nale:. to be fair, that WAS funny as hell

Roy/Hinjo vs Miko. Always fun to see a good old-fashioned fighter break things up with his sword (and bonus: Miko is those things).

I also liked: Xykon vs Paladins, Order of the Stick vs Linear Guild in Dorukan's dungeon, Nale vs Elan vs Thog vs Haley vs Sabine, and most of the others really.

Oh, I forgot, Vaarsuvius vs the Chimera. Definitely a close second.

The log between Miko and the OTTS (the one that isn't shown in the comic. The log The Giant posted was cool).
Roy vs Xykon (1st time, 2nd time was kind of stupid (really, what was Roy thinking?) was lolz.
Roy+ Hinjo vs Miko was pretty epic, and dramatic to.
It was also pretty cool when the Ghost Guard got up, and very nearly destroyed Xykon

Most fights involving Miko were pretty awesome in my opinion - say what you will about her, that woman knows how to duel.

My absolute favorite, however, is Xykons and Roys first encounter. "Great. Me first", was badass on so many levels, and Roy's response was just as good.
