Thanks to Amazon and Wikipedia, now we have one here.

*Licks and Sticks* This would be a handy resource Sticky

If one already exists, well, Let it die I guess.

If anyone knows the titles to ones I have missed, just post them.

I couldnt find a definitive source for 1st ed, anyone who knows them post

Deleted my earlier post to keep yours together.

I guess my point is, is there really a need for this? If people need to know it, aren't there other, presumably better-maintained (i.e., by Wizards directly or by a horde of Wikipedians) places for it? Has the question arisen much?

Are these the books you own? If not, your list is missing a bunch of 2nd edition books. For example the players option books and the DM handbooks.

What about 1st edition?

It would be handy to have a resource here on these boards, but if there are gaps in this list we ought to just post them to get them added to the lists.

Maybe we could also throw up common acronyms for each book, because it's driving me crazy trying to find some of them.

Just off the top of my head, you're missing these for 2e:

Player's Option: Skills and Powers
Player's Option: Combat and Tactics
Player's Option: Spells and Magic
DM's Option: High Level Campaigns
The Complete Necromancer's Handbook
The Wizard's Spell Compendium
The Priest's Spell Compendium
The Magic Item Encyclopedia - Can't recall the actual name off the top of my head
The Complete Villain's Handbook - although this contains no 'crunch'
The Roman, Celtic, and Renaissance Sourcebooks - don't know the names
An Enormous Number of Monstrous Compendiums, most of them setting- specific

I suspect there are yet more I'm missing, and I intentionally left out the setting-specific ones.

The Roman, Celtic, and Renaissance Sourcebooks - don't know the names

The 'Historical Sourcebook' series. Seven of them: Vikings, Celts, Romans, Mythic Greeks, Charlemagne's Paladins, The Crusades, The Age of Discovery (1500-1650).

And of course the three godly books, Faiths & Avatars, Powers & Pantheons, and Demihuman Deities. There is also a Complete Necromancer

Arms & Equipment guide is 3.0, not 2.0. (I don't think it's 3.5 yet, though, it treats whips as ranged weapons. First Printing March 2003.)

Edit: Ah you have it there, nevermind. It's buried. Which brings another issue...perhaps alphabetize them?

Actually, A&E is one of the books that was published in both editions, much like UA.

Are the first three 3rd or 2nd ed?

Thanks about the "post a book he's missing" for ancronyms on 3.5 and 3.0 look Common Acronyms, Abbreviations, and Terms (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18512)

2nd edition did not have an Oriental Adventures book. 1st edition did, though.

Help with 2nd ed would be great, send me a pm if you find a good place to look at them.
