I'm going to post a list of books that I have found to be quite beneficial to the construction of "The Ultimate City", each giving more and more tips to make a city/town/metropolis/etc more alive and full of detail.
In my opinion however, even these are not sufficient to quench my obsession over knowing more about a single neighborhood than I do about the actual neighborhood I live in, and I hope anyone who has a Link, their own City Construction advice, or yet another book that I may have left out will feel free to contribute with their own post.
(Suggestions will be credited to 1st submitter)
Books
- A Magical Medieval Society: Western Europe
- Dungeon Master's Guide
- Dungeon Master for Dummies
- Cityscape (iceddragons)
- Races of (Stone, Destiny, etc) (Kizara)
- Epic Level Handbook (Kizara)
- Stronghold Builder's Guide (Kizara)
