Who's played this epic RPG series, consisting of (well, as far as N.American releases go), Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete (aka Lunar: Legends for the GBA), Lunar 2: Eternal Blue, and Lunar: Dragon Song.

I played Lunar: SSSC when I was a lot younger, then picked up the remake when it came out, and I've just started Lunar 2: EB (after FINALLY finding a d/l for it). I also ahve Lunar: Dragon Song, but I didn't like it enough to continue... Ehehe.

Graphics have always been iffy with this series, but its biggest attraction has always been its characters, I think. I love EB's characters, they're such awesomeness. Especially Jean and Ronfar.

I have, though it was a bit like playing an anime series. :smalltongue:

Played both, beat SSSC, never did get around to polishing off Zophar in the second one, though. Who doesn't love adorable flying cat / baby dragon things? Very enjoyable RPGs, if a bit cliche ridden

I played the Eternal Blue Remake 2 years ago, and than SSSC last year I think. Very enjoyable games, they are indeed. Havent played DS tho.

Cliche isn't bad if it's done well.

There are very few console-style RPGs that can keep me interested for as long as Lunar and Lunar 2 have. However, I've heard nothing good about Lunar Legend from those who've played the PSX version, and nothing good about Dragon Song from anyone.

I love the music, too. Overall, IMO it's better than the FF games. (guns down, please.)
