I kid you not.

There's even videos on Youtube explaining how it's based around platforming.

Personally, I find this very scary.

If they resort to using platform play in a MMORPG, let alone using a cartoon universe, what does that signal for the rest of the gaming industry?:smallfrown:

Lure them in at a young age..
And in the darkness bind them.
Id love to play a high level dexter  (kidding... ohhhoo. Kid-ding. what a funny pun).

It signals that its time to complain they ripped their idea from Maplestory, unless their use of platforms is unrelated to Maplestory's platformerness (having minimal interest currently, I haven't followed your links)

This wouldn't be nearly as strange had I not heard of something similar (http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2008/02/25) recently.

I know LEGOs and Cartoon Network have little in common, other than being important aspects of my childhood, but that, to me, makes it connected.

Who knows? It might actually be good.

It's true. Online gaming died and went to hell the moment it came into existence. This is just the continuation the suffering of its immortal soul.

Anyways I won't be playing this for two reasons:
1) Its a MMO
2) It doesn't feature Johnny Bravo

Agreed. Johnny Bravo is the single greatest thing on CN, and excluding him therefore forfeits the game.

All in favour, say BRAVO.

It sounds like 3D Maple Story. And not only does that sadden me greatly, it will tank like a lead balloon in the middle of the Pacific.
