I would just like to point out that you cannot have a potion of see invisibility as it is a personal spell and not able to be a potion.

Just to speed things up a bit, I heard noise just about SW of my current position acording to the refs. Did I hear any additional sounds of weapons getting drawn or you moving in a direction during your turn? I scored 13 on the listen check.

Well, in that case, I'm just going to take a gamble and attack a square.
From my current position I can reach G12 and H12. I12 to, but that would be S rather then SW and I doubt you would be going for the water.

rolling for concealment[roll1] 1-50 is miss, 51-100 is a hit (if I guessed the right square that is)

Alright, I'll ask a ref to make one, though it does slow down the process. One sec.

EDit: Wait, if thats the problem, cant you just roll for me instead then? Its a 50/50 chance roll with no modifiers, so there is little to cheat on. Low is a miss, high is a hit. (If I attacked the right square that is, of course. And if your still in rage, cause otherwise a 15 wouldn't be enough... still a lot of ifs aint it?)

Also, don't you need some sort of manifester level check for the use of a power stone above your caster level, ala scroll use?

Actually I just looked it up, and you need a caster level check of DC 5 to use your stone (caster level 4 for psychic warrior +1) or make a DC5 Wis check to avoid brainburn.

Probably nothing but could be something, and with no invis I need every advantage I can gain.

If your flatfooted AC is 20 or less, you take 10 damage from a javelin. RedMoon is sitting in S6.

The attack roll and damage is the second spoiler in my previous post.

Edit: Also I was under the impression that unless the rolls were made, they were counted as 0. this has been the ruling since I remember, and I don't remember ever asking for or giving reactive rolls if I hadn't proactively rolled them or if the player hadn't proactively rolled them.

Good thing it doesn't matter at this point.

I was hidden, and you were flatfooted, that was the whole point of that.

You literally take 10 points of damage. Since you are flat-footed (being attacked by a hidden/invisible foe) you cannot use an immediate action.

Invisible

Visually undetectable. An invisible creature gains a +2 bonus on attack rolls against sighted opponents, and ignores its opponents’ Dexterity bonuses to AC (if any). (See Invisibility, under Special Abilities.)
Now, you may not have been literally invisible, but this is what the attack-from-hiding is based on. It specificly states I lose my dexterity to AC but it doesn't mention anywhere I am flat-footed. Those are two different things (such as apple is a fruit, but fruit doesn't have to be an apple).

One loses his dexterity to AC when he can not avoid an attack either because he doesn't know where it is coming from or because he is stuck in place. But resilience doesn't prevent the hit, it merely ensures that the hit is rendered harmless.

Sneaky bastard, using my equipment against me! Nice one :smallbiggrin:
There is one thing you forgot to take into account though. That Tower-shield you just picked up? Its 45lb's, which puts you over your light carrying capacity. Which lowers your movement speed. Now, I for one don't know where that puts you exactly, but it sure as hell doesn't put you on the other side of the bog. In fact it renders you suspended in thin air at either O18 or P18 (depending on wetter your speed drops to 40 or 35). And we got jumping rules for that. If you run out of movement halfway a jump, you are forces to use a movement on your next turn to complete the jump.

I take a double move now. I end my movement in Q18. And will now roll for my AoO which is what is going to happen as soon as you continue your jump.

I'm sorry, but I don't have the time or inclination to add up my equipment for an encumberance load. If you or a ref feel like it, that's fine but I simply cannot devote the time to it.

I see tower shield at 45lbs, I think chain shirt is 25.

Also, if it is somehow deemed I am overweight, a ref will need to adjudicate this mess anyway.

Ah sorry about that, I just happened to have a bit to much time on my hands today. Homework gets boring rather fast and there was nowhere I needed to be today so...

about the encumbrance, your str is 18 at the moment so that makes 100lb a light load.
45+25=70
daggers 5x1; spears 3x6; javelins 5 or 6 x2; buckler 5; armor spike 10
=70+48=118lb

So yeah, kinda overloaded.

Sheesh do I deserve to lose this match. I have never made so many mistakes in an arena match...ever. I've made a couple mistakes that have cost me a match that were superfluous(ie naming wrong squares etc.), but never piled on stupid rules mistakes like I am with this.

You are indeed right, and thank you for adding the poundage up. My move goes to 35' and I am in P18 when you go to Q18.

Unless you can walk on water, you can't charge while jumping. The feat Leap Attack allows you to do so, but that water there counts as hampered terrain. You might be able to get to me but you can't hit me.

Odd... I used this kind of jumps before, though always in campaigns so scinematic results usually outweigh the letter of the rules. What the feat describes would indeed suggest that it is not normally allowed. Well, in that case I only make the double move and end my turn in J2. I take my right hand of the guisarme, which is the hand that is clad with a spiked gauntlet.

The basic question that is underlying here is, "Can you jump while charging?"

Per SRD, jumping:

A Jump check is included in your movement, so it is part of a move action.

The charge action is a full round action, and jump checks are specifically stated to be part of move actions. Without special abilities allowing otherwise, jump checks are not allowed as a part of any action other than a move action.

Actually, this is my fourth win, so yeah. Even if I lose the finals, I got enough exp to go level up. I enjoyed the match. See you next round. :smallsmile:
