So I really like the sorcerer bloodlines feats that appeared in a few issues of Dragon (325, 311 and reprinted in the Dragon Compendium). Sorcerers often seem pretty generic so any way to customize them and take there connection away from dragons is in my opinion great ( i hate dragons :smalltongue: )

So ill start with the ogre mage bloodline. It was originally going to be a giant bloodline but after some research too few giants have spells and the ones that do also dont have much common ground with the other ones so i made it the ogre mage bloodline.

More are soon to come and if you come up with your own just post them. critism is encouraged

Ogre Mage Bloodline
Perquisites: Ability to Spontaneously Cast Arcane Spells, ability to summon a familiar

Some where in your lineage lurks an ogre mage. Ogre Mages often lead hordes of monstrous humanoids and often their spoils of war include mates. Of course some ogre mages just change shape and have a “good time” in town polymorph in a less monstrous form. People with Ogre Mage blood in them tend be having imposing builds and bluish tinge skin. Some develop vestigial horns or long canines. Personality wise they are charismatic to the point of dominating a conversation but this is not say that they yammer on and on. They use carefully constructed sentences and use as few words as needed. Ogre mage descendents love to work in-groups preferably in charge but they will settle to use there above average intellects to play the power behind the throne or second in command.
Benefit: Your ancestry grants you a bonus spell known at each level starting at first according to the following list.
1: Sleep
2: Invisibility
3: Gaseous Form
4: Polymorph
5: Clone of Cold
6: Bull’s Strength, Mass
7: Invisibility, Mass
8: Polymorph Any Object
9: Regenerate
Special: If this feat is taken any level past first and has already learned on the list above she does not gain any bonus spells known for that level. Characters with ogre mage blood cannot cast spells with the acid descriptor. Acid is one of the few things that can bypass ogre mage's regeneration and are loath to cast them. If you know any spells with the acid descriptor they are removed from your spells known.

Rakshasa Bloodline
Perquisites: ability to cast arcane spells spontaneously and ability to summon familiar

Few creates are as purely evil as Rakshasas. They manipulate from behind and the scenes to get whatever they want. By the time a settlement or city has discovered that there is a Rakshasa controlling some major political figure or group the Rakshasa has already left. Gluttonous creatures Rakshasa indulge in all kinds of things and most have a harem of some size. As well with their natural magical abilities and love of torture some have transferred some of their insidious presence to others. You are descended from of these unfortunate souls. Characters with Rakshasa blood have an exotic beauty like some one from a far off land but which one is anyone’s guess. Many also have tiger like features and like cat eyes, striped hair and beards or long fingernails. Almost all have odd twisted looking fingers that while appear normal, move in alien and disturbing ways. Personality wise Rakshasa blooded people are crafty and quite. Often they seek a stay in the shadows and not draw attention to themselves. This does not make them shy. Behind the scenes they attempt to control people with either their exotic charms or spells. Many also have a taste for the finer things in life eating expensive food and draping themselves in silks and other exotic fabrics.

Benefit: Your ancestry grants you a bonus spell known at each level starting at first according to the following list.
1: Disguise Self
2: Detect Thoughts
3: Suggestion
4: Hallucinatory Terrain
5: Teleport
6: Mislead
7: Planeshift
8: Demand
9: Shapechange

Special: If this feat is taken any level past first and has already learned on the list above she does not gain any bonus spells known for that level. Characters with the Rakshasa bloodline cannot cast spells with the Enchantment (Charm) sub-school. Rakshasas enjoy subjugating others wills and prefer to have complete control of there pawns so they have no chance of revealing to others their plans. If you know any spells with the Enchantment (charm) sub-school descriptor they are removed from your spells known.

Disturbing Hands
Perquisites: Rakshasa Bloodline and the ability to cast 2nd level arcane spells
Benefit: As a standard action you may switch your hands so that your palms are where the backs of yours normally would be. This does not affect your dexterity but gives you +2 to intimidate and +2 against being disarms.
