Wasn't that in some member's sig around here? I *think* that specific image was not created by the Giant, so it's more in the lines of fanart, though. No real need to make a link back. The person that created the image, though, may get annoyed for it's use without reference.

from what i've seen of copyright laws, this person UnSub has broken the copyright, unless of course they somehow got permission from the giant to the artwork. And considering it doesn't even link back to OotS is a shame, would help bring readership up even higher.

Looks like UnSub is using it as an Avatar. If that's really the case (I don't know the layout of the site, I just clicked his name a bit and found it there) then it would be tough to put in a link-back... I don't know if it's possible to make an Avatar a clickable link. Certainly not in any FORUM I've been to.

Would've been nice to see a Shoutout or a link in his profile, (http://www.mmorpg.com/profile.cfm/username/UnSub) though...

Irrelevant...the Giant specifically prohibits his artwork being used as an avatar on another site, so UnSub is breaking da' rulez however you look at it.
