I plan on building a batman wizard but I am not sure which prestiges to take when, I have read TLN's guide but I still am not sure what to take when.
I ahve access to core rulebooks, drow of the underdark, PHBII, Comp Arcane, and Comp Scoundrel.

I plan on taking 1 level in wayfarer guide and mindbender, enough of archmage to get the ranged touch spells and the shape spells high arcana, and then initiate of the sevenfold veil. Anything else to add to the list? or a build order?

If you're going Batman and shooty magic ... I suggest just going all out Evoker. Or if you want to get blasty about it... use the cheesiest combination for a caster:

Wizard > Incantrix > Initiate of the Sevenfold Veil
You don't have access to either of the books required.

I recommend just Evoker then.

If for utility... probably Domain Wizard from the SRD, under Unearthed Arcana.

If you're going Batman and shooty magic ... I suggest just going all out Evoker.Um, "Batman" means that he's not going for shooty magic or most evocations. Contingency, a few Force spells, and maybe Sending will make it on to Batman's spell list, if he doesn't specialize, but other than that, none of the other evocation spells. And if he does specialize, Evocation is the first school dropped.

Focused Conjurer into Malconvoker is fun. There's a handbook at the WOTC CharOp boards, should you want more info. I realize that invalidates your build plan somewhat, but a malconvoker Batman is just too much fun not to suggest.

More helpfully, go here (http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=956548). Good stuff for any wizard, and contains a breakdown of prestige classes, as well as some good builds to start with.

That's my 2cp.

Complete Arcane has the Mage of the Arcane Order prestige class. It suits the batman theme perfectly. The fluff can be a bit restricting though. But if your DM allows you to pay the monthly fee in advance then you only have to attend the campus once every 6 months.
If somebody in your group has Races of the Wild you should consider the Elf Wizard substitution levels.

Initiate of the Sevenfold Veil is in complete arcane, I have that. Also, Initiate of the Sevenfold Veil is supposed to be an abjurer, not a blaster, they are opposites.

Heh, saying Initiate of the Sevenfold Veil is the opposite of blasting is rather like saying Prismatic Wall isn't a blaster spell. Sure, maybe not, but you can still blow people up with it.

Seriously, have you read what Iot7V gets? Specially when you get down to the Indigo veil? Complete and utter immunity FTW! Plus you can set up walls, retrobutive strikes... good times. However, it does require that you not ban Abjuration. Good thing, though... the prereqs for Iot7V mostly apply for getting into Archmage.

Mage of the Arcane Order is good. You can pull a necessary spell out of your rear in a critical situation. Versitility makes Mage of the Arcane Order a good one to take if you are not going to specialize.

Fatespinner is a solid PrC, although the last level really isn't worth taking. Fickle Finger of Fate is really good for making sure your Save or Screwed spells actually land. Resist Fate is really good at making sure you don't blow a vital save.

Master Specialist from Complete Mage sounds like right up your alley. If you can get access to this book, I highly suggest it.

Master Specialist combined with the Focused Specialist variant gives you more spells of the good schools that you want, and makes you much better with your specialty schools. Conjuration, Transmutation, Abjuration are all good choices that give you many useful spells per day.
