Hari Michaelson is an Actor from a dark future of Earth who is sent to the magical dimension of Overworld to risk his life in entertaining ways. Widely known to be the greatest close-combat fighter alive on Overworld with knives, and capable of some very limited spellcasting, he plays the role of the Assassin and mercenary Caine. No ordinary assassin, he has brought a kingdom to its knees twice and broke the nose of a God.

Batman needs no introduction, prepared for anything, knows dozens of martial arts, and is a profoundly exceptional detective and scientist.

The setup is: Hari Michaelson is at the height of his career a short time before the events of Heroes Die and is using the Winston Transfer Machine to go to Overworld. There is a malfunction and he finds himself on the streets of a grim city. As Hari is wont to do, he is soon in trouble and the city's masked defender must track Hari down and subdue him. Assume Hari has a month or two to acclimate himself to Gotham's seedier side before he gets into trouble. Assume Hari's magic doesn't work in Gotham.

Is the result any different if the malfunction puts Batman in Ankhana, rather than Caine in Gotham?
