The basic answer is No.

There is a low chance of conversion in any case, and to do so right at the start of the game is out of the question. One thing the strip needs is for us to understand the jokes and we won't until we know the new rules.
Don't even think about it before 2009.

Probably not. This has been discussed, and discarded mostly because several parts of the strip would have to be discarded, like Elan's class. It'll probably be used for jokes, but no formal upgrade.

I think I read that adult ones would be the size of pre-teen humans. I'll try and find the information.
