This time I'm going for fun: 415. TeeVo is too much to pass up.

Teevo is good. But I'm going to vote for the miniatures - 413.

I'm pretty sure I'm the only one here, but #414. The whole "divided we fall" bit always draws me.

415 has too many classic moments to say no to it.

I enjoyed all of them this time for sure though.

413. Gotta love the indignant Belkar.

415. Yahtzee!

413 has all those little battleaxes, so it should be all right.

And I think there are a couple of confused votes... I'm not sure if DomaDoma's vote is supposed to be for 414 or 413, warmachine's vote is for a strip without Belkar, and Mordae's Yahtzee was in 414, not 415.

How embarrassing, a typo in my first-ever post. :smalleek: I did indeed mean 414. I shall endeavor to improve my accuracy in the future

Nazzo, I have an objection to the vote count in the 406-410 thread. Are you using GMT -5 as "forum default time"? (Look in your User CP or at the bottom of any forum page.) Because if so, I believe I got my vote in a full hour and a half before the deadline. (4:25 PM GMT -7 = 6:25 PM GMT -5. Your closing time was 8 PM forum default time. My vote and your deadline were both March 6th so that's not a factor.) That also means you threw out three votes for 406 that actually got in on time, which would swing the vote to 406. So I think either 406 should be declared the winner or a runoff scheduled, probably between the groups of five and the start of BotQ.

As for this round, as great as Teevo is, I have to give my vote to 413. Even though the "SERVICE BLOCKED" screen is great, 413 somehow manages to be funnier than 415 at each step.

(And I would call out people for not taking the simple step of looking at their posts before submitting, or even after submitting with use of the edit button, especially for such egregious things as "313", but I very nearly submitted this as a vote for 408. But I have the excuse that my mind was clearly still on that round; what's yours?)

Entirely adequate even if they won't match the winner from last time. But 413 deserves to get to the next round

415 for me. Teevo is a fresh change compared to the other 4 strips.

Yahtzee for me...

413 (Not to scale) has got to be the one. I do like how such a plot-heavy passage was covered without loss of humor, or loss of plot beneath the humor. The Giant at his finest.

415

While I loved the miniatures, it didn't hit the spot as much as this one.

Nazzo, I have an objection to the vote count in the 406-410 thread. (...)

Yes, yes, I know. I messed it all up. It's corrected now. The new winner is 406. I corrected in the Results thread as well. Sorry about that, people. :smalltongue:

On to the voting on this round!

415 for me.

Minor OtOoPCs Spoiler
I had just read OtOoPCs before this strip came out, and I was glad for the continuity with Frudu and the Ming

It's going to be #415 for me this time, although 412 ran it close.

Too many good single-panel gags to pass up though - Teevo, despite my usual dislike of out-of-comic references*, enables that gags rather than IS the gag so I'll let it slide this time ;¬)

*dislike for purposes of voting best-of strips only. Funny is funny however you tell it.

412, simply because it was the one that made me laugh the most in this sequence. Not a bad selection, but nothing fantastic here either.

415 as this is more plot and less humor series and this does have some humor.

Morgan Wick

Well, I was dead right on the macro level - it's essentially a 413-415 battle. I was wrong about 411 being popular - apparently people love their "YAHTZEE!" and "Where else would a crown go?" over their "Whine, whine, whine, I'm Roy and I want more plot points!" (I'm absolutely stunned 412, a pure recap strip, beat 411. But I guess the 411 crowd overlaps too much with the 413 or 415 crowd.)

Thr 415 crowd should stick around for 416, but 418 has more general appeal, if you know what I mean... 420 is plot important and 417 and 419 have their appeal as well, but I expect 418 to be the favorite, with 416 and (though distant) 419 the strongest dark horses.
