2007-01-24, 07:37 PM
Indurain sneaks out of his square and grabs some cookies from Ms. E. He gives her a giant bare hug and heads back to his square.

"Oh goody!"

Indurain begins to eat his cookie, though he seems to drop more crumbs than he gets in his mouth. Pretty soon there's a crumb shower raining on Case.

Ms E pretends to be disgusted at the barehug. However... when no one is looking... she sneaks over to Indurain's square and gives him a bearhug.

Indurain
2007-01-24, 11:17 PM
Indurian throws a sly wink at Ms. E.

"Great cookies, m'lady."

However, he "accidently" nudges the now empty plate and it tumbles down, falling right at Case's head.

Case
2007-01-25, 12:26 AM
Fortunatly for Case, he just so happened to be testing out his brand new giant umbrella when the cookie crump shower started and was still testing it when Indurain dropped the plate so it harmlessly bounces off.

Then Case decides to "accidently" go on the offence by "accidently" drilling a hole under Indurain's feet, as well as "accidently" begin to pump quick drying super glue into said hole and onto Indurain's feet.

El Jaspero, the Pirate King
2007-01-25, 07:05 PM
El J gives the llama a pat too. For luck, you know.

Case
2007-01-25, 11:07 PM
At first Case just stared and wondered how in the world Indurain could possibly have fit through the hole since it really wasn't that big, only an inch or two, but he quickly recovers. He then tries to grabs Indurain's legs as he falls from above, and prepares to swing him around hammer-throw style.

"Round and round you'll go, where you'll stop nobody knows."

Indurain
2007-01-26, 07:58 AM
Indurain manages to avoid Case's grasp and plant his feet firmly on the pirate's head. The glue dries almost instantly, and now Indurain and Case have become a totem pole.

Indurain
2007-01-27, 10:03 AM
Luckily Indurain is well trained in the art of "The One." And is able to duck under the low swining doorways, granted as he does everything goes into slow motion.

"You know Case, I can keep this up all day, and you're really going to slow this game down. Especially when El J picks me next!!"

Case
2007-01-29, 12:45 AM
As Case runs by screaming with an Indurain stuck to his head, he hears his question and pauses to think about if for a second. "Hmmmm...let's see who is devious enough to kill all those people...I'd have to say Sneak because that sounds like something he'd do. Alright where was I...oh yes running and screaming. A-hem. Case
2007-02-01, 12:31 AM
After traveling in extremely slow motion for quite a while, Case suddenly picks up speed at an alarming pace. Crashing head first through the watermelons, he then rockets through the glass shattering it into thousands of shards. Sitting up with blood dripping down his face he calmly gets up and heads back to his square, and, after rumaging around the space under his desk he pulls out a wand of CLW and proceeds to heal himself.

See the pending thread in FB for more details

Well I found the original game while perusing the old, old threads. And to post in the thread would be threadomancy, so I just started the game a new. Though it was B-Man who started The second second thread.

I was under the assumption that I was correct in labelling that as the second one! I didn't know any better!

You were. The other version of the game died...so when I restarted it...it reset to 1...you're the man B-Man.

And Hah! I do....on occasion....start SMBG

Holds his hand to the mark on his face where Mr. Nude had the audacity to slap him. With eyes blazing with a fury few had ever seen in him before he yells at the nude one, "Nobody is allowed to slap me but me and maybe that guy over there!" With that he charges toward the board and with a leap that shocks and amazes most people watching, is almost able to cleanly jump right into the center square. Settling for grabbing Mr. Nude's leg he tries to pull him out of the square.

*Atreyu hangs a banner from his square that says "Case vs Indurain. Taking bets here."

(ooh, ooh, Bookman. Can I host while you're gone? We don't want another Playground Squares Game II on our hands now, do we?) (If anyone chooses my square, I'll pass off hosting duties to Indy or Alarra or El J or DLD or someone.)

Sure thing Llama.

Ahhhhhhh PS 2..........my first game.

Seems so long ago..... O.O
But I don't think we'd get that bad...... *shrug*

Anyways this is (in theory) my last post here.....

I love this hour break in between classes when I don't have homework.........

ULTIMATE POWER!!!

Great. So..ummm....questions?

Who is the opponent again? ooh, I'm new at this. So, Cube's opponent, choose a square!!

Indurain lets Case grab hold of his leg, but before the shifty pirate can react, Indurain fires a kick to the side of the square, slamming Case's back into the divider seperating Indurain and evnafets.

"A wise bet El J."

Hey, it's my turn. I choose Death. ((Llama, you could give your square to Case, which would mean you wouldn't have to worry about soemone choosing you))

Case

Case hits the wall hard and for a brief moment is disoriented. Acting mainly on basic instinct he leaps at the naked emperor driving his right shoulder into his stomache dilivering a nasty spear that knocks him clean off his feet.

(ooh, I could do that. Do you want it, Case?)

"Okay, Death. As previously mentioned, the second game of Playground Squares is actually considered by many fans of the show to be the worst round due to extended absences by the host, chaos over valid questions, and computer problems with the contestants. Playground Squares now current host, Bookman, was one of the two contestants brave enough to finish this cursed game. Who was the other contestant?"

Death, your friend the Reaper
2007-02-15, 09:13 AM
Ghost_Humanoid, who goes by the name Carrion_Humanoid nowadays.

I recall, I was up on the top right square.

*Death sips his ginger beer of victory*

DING! You are correct. Those two brave contestants and 9 squares played a game so long that Bookman started as a pixie and ended as a titan.

Purple Cube: Choose your square!!
And also because I want to, I'm going to give you a choice of categories.

You can choose "Stabbity Cuteness" or "Rumors" as your category. If you don't want to choose a category, I'll pick one for you.

Alarra

Alarra looks at the board and realizes she's probably about to be picked, so fixes her hair and sits up straighter.

Oh poo...He better get this wrong...I want to get picked!!

evnafets
2007-02-16, 04:49 AM
Actually, I think it would be taking Alarra for the block (PGCoD is playing X's), so if you want to be picked at some point, pray he gets it right

If I remember the rules correctly it wouldn't go to O even if he gets the question wrong, but then Krursk would have the opportunity to play that square for the win.

I don't think I'm in any danger of being called upon soon. Time for a nap I think - if those two duelers in the next square would keep quiet for 5 minutes I might be able to get some shut-eye.

Case

Sure, I'll take your square Llama.

Oh wait...

Categories? We're foraying into Jeopardy a bit, aren't we? I like it. Maybe he should answer in the form of a question as well.

Okay, Alarra. This poster joined in May 2006 and jumped onto stabbity death with a bloodthirsty glee. He was often stabbitied because his avatar was deemed too cute to live. In fact, he was stabbitied so often that he made both zombie and angel versions of his avatar to reflect this. Who was this poster?

Alarra

That was one coffee Alarra? How much sugar would you like in it?

The game continues. Krursk, choose your square and if you like you may choose a category, too. Today's categories are "Howling good time" and " Desserts and Demigods"

Dis, your question for "Howling good time" is "Who hosted the original game of werewolf on the GitP forums?"
